Since the Bulls don't look happy with T.Thomas I wonder if you would try to trade LO for Thomas & Nocioni.
Nocioni is maybe a better fit than LO at the 3 for next year when we have Pau and Andrew starting.
Nocioni is a pretty good defender and not bad from 3pt range.
Thomas is young with nice potential at the 4. |

I always thought T. Thomas would be a good fit for the Lakers because he is an excellent weak side defender. In addition, he doesnt need the ball to be effective. The Bulls have T. Thomas lost. There is no consistency in what they are doing in Chicago and that frequently disturbs a young players game. I like his tools. In time I think he will be a good 15-18 foot shooter. I wouldnt trade L.O. for Tyrus Thomas but Chicago wouldnt trade Noic and Thomas for L.O.
The Lakers are going to have to do something. There is no way we keep the hugh contracts of Kobe, Pau, Odom and soon Bynum. We will trim down to three big contracts and one of those pieces will be traded for younger, less expensive talent. |

Don't forget LO expires next year and many teams will love to get 14M coming off the books |

Tyrus is a knuckle head...
I would love Nocioni but Odom is MUCH better than him...
all in all I wouldn't do it...talentwise its fair deal but I would prefer Odom because I don't like Tyrus Thomas. _________________

| Well the lakers can trade Odom because when we have Pau and Bynum we do not need Odom, because gasol and bynum can rebound. But he trade wit the bulls is a good one because we receive a tough defender,a hustle guy, a guy that can hit the three and have passion in nocioni. In Thyrus thomas we get the reincarnation of dennis rodman but with more athleticism. Imagine coming off the bench turiaf thomas and ariza, we have here pure defense and energy. Odom I sure that john paxson will like odom expiring contract. |

Forget Tyrus Thomas, he is a lazy bum.
Instead try...
Odom for Nocioni and Duhon (either Duhon takes his player option or a sign and trade contract).
Duhon could be availble because he is not in Chicago's plans anymore.
Lakers have perimeter defense in the small forward (in addition to Ariza) and poing guard positions. |
