Well i expected henry will not contribute at barca like he did in arsenal but i didn't expect that bad. Obviously he lost his speed and confidience.

Today at Champions Leauge

Fenerbahce 2 - 1 Chelski

First half chelsea dominated the game but at second half fenerbahce play good and deivid's goal was great(kind of cristiano ronaldo goal).

Arsenal - Liverpool

Arsenal should have won this. I think Liverpool will be qualifed
cant forget about pato

Agreed. Well because milan is so bad i forgot Pato.

Anyway Deivid's incredible goal against chelsea:

barca have been very disapointing this year. rijkard really was lame in managing the tough personalities he has on that team. i was really rooting for them when the champions league started but now i want arsenal to win, barca don't really deserve to win anything this year IMHO.

You know Frank Rijkaard is one of my all-time favorite players. He is a great character and was a brilliant soccer player.

His coaching isn't terrible. Frank is an adorable guy, he gets along extremely well with his players and never criticizes them in public. He barely reacts emotional, always keeps his comments really factual and he knows better than any coach around the globe how to manage ego's and how to get a group of individuals play together.

His soccer philosophy fits well with Barca, the players he wants to have are mostly good choices and he is a good representative for the club.

weakness: tactical aspect of soccer...Frank doesn't have a lot of coaching experience and lacks the creativity. He gets out-coached a lot of times...this year especially Barca lacks a soul. They don't show any passion. If they did, they could easily WILL every game to a win because they are the most talented players in the world and also in their prime.

Last but not least Frank is worn out in Barcelona. This team needs a breath of fresh air and some changes

Deco needs to be gone
Xavi needs to be gone
Ronaldinho needs to be gone
Henry has been garbage and needs to be gone
Gudjohnson needs to be gone
Zambrotta needs to be gone

They are all talented but they have issues. Deco is a prick I no longer want to see in a Barca uniform. Xavi sucks, Ronnie sucks, Henry sucks, Gudjohnson doesn't fit the style and Zambrotta can't excel outside of italy.

We need a better MF-player to compliment Yaya, Iniesta and Messi.

A lot of Barca players under-achieved this year and played BELOW their possibilities.

as of right now Barca has 2 options

Mourinho who wants to coach Barca badly...I hate his dumbass character and his defensive style doesn't exactly fit the Barca philosophy. He is a great coach tho and his toughness might be exactly what this team needs because its the opposite of Rijkaard.

Guardiola, the former captain. But he has no experience and I don't want to have a manager for this team with no coaching experience whatsoever.

i think frank rijkaard has an issue with ronaldinho dating his doughter (at least that's what i've read in the media) and they aren't going along very well. i never doubt that Frank is a great coach the guy got the forth place in the World Cup of 98 with holland when he was what? 35, 36?

i think that barca made a huge mistake signing henry. although he hasn't been extremly bad he indeed messed up the chemistry between the players that was in the past 5 years at barca.

as of mourinho. as a friend of mine says (who's a huge barca fan) he'll make real madrid fans commit suicide with his press talks and stuff. if he gets in barca i bet he'll change his game philosophy to an atacking one cuz after all i've never seen barca play defensive game in my whole life and it's the club philosophy to play atacking and atractive football.

KB24@CL,

I don't agree you about xavi. Imo xavi is better than iniesta and toure. He is good with Toure. They complete each other very well. Iniesta is more like attacking midfelder and he is better than deco obviously.
Also i don't agree about rijkaard. He had problems with etoo and ronaldinho last year and he didn't resolve the problems.

i agree you about Mourinho. Mourinho means to barca fans is exactly same what d'antoni means to lakers fans. Also like you said his philosophy don't fit barca's.

I don't know Guardiola but Michael Laudrup (Getafe Coach) will be good. Maybe Scolari (which will be left Portugal National Team after Euro 2008) is good too.

Btw barca fans doesn't wants only FR out, they also want their Chairman Laporta out too and they are right because Laporta is guilty too about not resolving problems between etoo, ronaldinho and rijkaard. He thought all will be fine by Henry's arriving.

Xavi has played like crap this year...he CAN play but this season he simply doesn't altho he has scored some goals. Most fans I talk to are upset with him.
Yes Rijkaard didn't solve his problems with Eto'o and Ronaldinho but thats more because Eto'o and Dinho having huge ego's rather than Rijkaard being a dick. Frank is the coach and players have to do what he wants them to do and if they don't, that doesn't mean Frank has to reconsider his opinion. Most players like him and think he is a very good person. He is calm, factual and almost never criticizes them in public.

Laporta IMO is a great chairman. I wouldn't fire him. He took over a Barca team that was completely disastrous in every aspect. He won the championsleague, the league title, he also improved their financial ressources and brought great players to Barcelona. I really can't complain a bit about him. You can say he didn't react to all the problems but he did just what Mitch Kupchak did. Keep calm and try to continue to believe in your concept.

Laporta could have sold Ronnie and took away a lot of problems but he tried to keep him and make it work. In the end we all know it didn't but thats mainly because Dinho is DUN rather than Laporta making a mistake. He was the first chairman to not overreact on everything and keep a cool head and try to win with continuity. Gaspar, the former chairman, was an absolute retard and changed the coach like every year.

But all in all Spain is not like England where coaches stay for 10 years. They are not honored there at all and as soon as he fails to bring good results they call for his head...

People i'm a Naples support and i think that Lavezzi is stronger than Pato. I see every Sunday Lavezzi's and Pato's performances and i consider Lavezzi stronger than Pato. See the Naples matchs and see Lavezzi.

Yeah. I didn't think it was a foul at all. Babel was already losing balance when he dribbled. Toure (i believe) from the replays didn't even touch him or barely did.

That was not a foul.

On another note.......I can't understand the love Dirk Kuyt gets from Benitez. Babel is clearly the better player.

i really wanted arsenal to win cuz it's my favorite engllish team but what can we do. i think liverpool was great last night and i think the penalty indeed existed.

rafa benitez is really unpredictable, i bet wenger was expecting him to play a defensive game (i was expecting that) but he really surprised everyone by puting three forwards in. and by the way i think kuyt is doing a really good job he is really god playing as a winger and his passing ability is great.

it'll be hard without Rio or Vidic in the back. our defense suffer without those two.

Exactly. Plus, he saved Barca many times this season. And he is heart and soul of Barca (with Puyol of course). He must stay.

Barcelona has absolutly OWNED ManU in the first 70 minutes but they are just unable to score altho they have so many great scorers... bang

thank god Ronaldo missed the penalty...it would be VERY unfair if ManU gets out of this with a win or even a draw. They have pretty much not even touched the ball.
