LOL, *just* when I thought Stu would make it through a game without disagreeing with Joel, Stu disagrees with Joel about a "letdown" right around the 1:20 mark of the end of the 4th. I love it.

3-2 is not acceptable to me. How about 5-0? Or at the very least 4-1? Portland is going to be tough.

58 wins would tie LA's 01/02 season when they swept their way to the Finals, lost to Philly in Game 1. I was living in PA at the time. Fans really thought Philly could beat them. Then LA rattled off four straight wins to close it out.

agreed, i was saying at the least. but F that portland better not be tough. we are an elite team and they are out of the playoffs. i want a blowout in that game.

save those tough games for the hornets and spurs

Lamar is awful as an interviewee. Not his fault, some people just don't like it. I'd hate it.

I agree. The funny thing is that Griever wants 5-0, 4-1, then says Portland will be tough. Hello? We still play the Hornets AND Spurs in our "Fave" Five. This is our chance to land the #1 seed.

Nice motherEFFING win... With the exception of that little run in the 4th, it was pretty much our game from the moment Vlad hit that long three to end the first quarter.. Kobe was a GD assassin in the 3rd quarter, and then finished that ish off when he had to come in for the close out in the 4th.. And man, this team plays sooo much better with Pau in there, and Lamar and Vlad came up huge.. Let's hope we can do something similar in Portland Tuesday night..

Mikki Moore annoys me almost as much as Brad Miller...anyways I love it when nobodies like him score a couple of buckets early and get all cocky...and then get shut the eff down the rest of the game.

Actually I guess that applies to the rest of the Queens as a team...get all got the shut the hell down after that fluke first quarter. Great team defense by the Lakers.

Good point Kray, i said at the beginning i would be keeping an eye on the Lakers defense and in the 1st it was looking horrible.

But they really stepped it up the rest of the way .. props to the Lakers holding em under 100 and barely to 90

I think the Lakers also proved it wasn't so much good D in the beginning that held them to 35 % in the first rather than our shot being off

It's not being cocky. I expect the best from this team. I am well aware of who they have to play, so slow your roll.

Agree all the way. Moore is a chump. He's the one that got Kobe riled up last time around up here. When Brad Miller gave Kobe the hard foul, Moore was jabbering going, "Good foul, good foul." Kobe looked at him and started getting totally aggro - "ok, yeah, good foul, yeah" then proceeded to go off. Apparently this wasn't the first exchange between them. In an LA Times article the other day talking about opponents trying NOT to rile Kobe up in fear of him going off on them, Quentin Ross from the Clippers recounted an incident from his rookie year on the Clippers. Ross was giving Kobe plenty of space and respect trying not to get him agitated but then Moore got into it with Kobe verbally so Kobe took it on Ross. Poor guy, Kobe just lit him up for the rest of the game.

Love seeing Moore get burned. Great win tonight. Fun stuff. Nice to see Phil getting under the skin of LO and Vlad Rad and them responding with insane games. Awesome stuff for the end of the year run!!

Lol Chillax were all well aware im just saying it's better from a fan perspective to go in with lowered expectations just in case things dont go our way and not have it hit us hard rather than say "WE BETTER WIN THE NEXT 5" And have a huge letdown .. we all know this team is great but we also know it has it's let downs at times

I even take this approach towards Kobe's MVP chances ... We all know he should get it but im already prepared if Paul gets it because we know how the media is with Kobe (and the voters) so if Kobe doesn't get it then boo-hoo i'll be fine, Hopefully it will motivate him to do more in the playoff's who know's
