YES Blazers win, BUT WAIT. Now what. The Blazers go home in five games while the Lakers win the championship. You can take your stupid series win over the us you stupid announcers. Have fun jerkin' off in your coach while we're holding the Vincent Limbardie trophie.

231 points in their two games at home against us.....they average 95 on the season.....but this team hasn't taken pride in their defense in 5 years, so it's not a surprise

man10 Look at the Lakers in the huddle Stratagizing like they actually have a chance to pull this one out man10 . Pathetic!

If we keep losing we won't even get that. If we're not gonna play defense the Hornets and Spurs will beat us. The Suns won tonight, they gain a game on us with this loss. But yeah, we should be satisfied with that, and there goes Kobe's MVP by no fault of his really, from what I saw he did all he could.

We won't keep losing. Lakers have an iteresting problem: they play down to the level of their opponents. I trust them more against NOH then against Bobcats.

NO has consistently torn us apart except for when we had Bynum and even one game WITH him. Our PG defense is a joke, any team with a quick PG destroys us. NO will give us a hell of a game and most likely win. We beat teams without quick guards, teams with quick guards like the Blazers have our number. Oh and our rebounding sucked tonight, so many offensive rebounds for the Blazers, West and Chandler are gonna get a ton on Friday too.

I think CP3 is gonna set a record for points in the paint by a single player when we play them. I predict he gets 21 uncontested layups.

We can no longer concentrate on winning the conference, we have to concentrate on winning the division and perhaps getting that #2 seed. Now I am hoping San Antonio beats Phoenix. I had a feeling we would lose tonight.

except letting roy go by him easily for the dagger.

even if kobe got beat which happens pau not rotating was inexcuseable

if he rotates brandon has to pass it or shoot over him or get fouled and take 2 free throws

Maybe b/c they have non-defensive players like Puke Walton, Lamar Odom, lazy Kobe, Farmar, Fisher, Sasha, and Vlad...

Looks like we might face the Suns in the 3rd spot. Yippeee

At this point, they'd kill us.

Agreed. Those fools can Rebound all of a sudden and Amare is a monster.

Every time LA loses, so many posters come with the "OMG. First round LOSS!" posts and then when we win it's "UNSTOPPABLE!"

I mean, come on, guys. We still don't have Bynum and we have 53 wins. We have beaten every other team in the top 8 with us and we have won half of the series against those teams (Dallas, Phoenix, Denver, Utah). We may not be championship material, but this game doesn't decide that fact. We're playing without our starting Center, who averages a double double, blocks a ton of shots, and shoots 60%+.

Keep it in perspective.

You may be right. But I still don't think we'll "keep losing". We might lose 1, win the rest, who knows... we'll probably end up 3rd, and we'll deal with it in the playoffs. With Bynum in the lineup.

Uh, it's Vince Lombardie, and that's for football.

Secondly, we won't win the championship.

Another blown opportunity to gain up on the Hornets and another game with lack of defensive intensity. bang

This team scored 62 points against the Spurs a couple days ago.and we give up 58 in the first half. WTF?! bang

You can't have the #2 seed if San Antonio keeps winning.

I would have liked LA to avoid SA altogether... maybe LA should continue to choke and find its way to the #5 seed.

This isn't their year, but it will give the younger players valuable learning experience and playoff fortitude for next season.
