My kids had a ball watching the video by the way....my daughter thinks it's a "camera trick". My two year old son couldn't stop laughing with glee.

Brilliant commercial. And that's exactly what it is, a commercial, it's not real, lol @ anyone who says it is. Kobe's not going to jump over a car, what if he gets hit? It's a joke, it's to show how good the shoes are. You can clearly see at the top of the jump it looks fake, it's as if he raises another level and the car looks like it's not even really there, it's fake. Great commercial though, just awesome.

haha. Fooled me.
Kobe's commercial worked. I'm going to buy some hyperdunks.
Also, for those that say that the car is behind Kobe after the :35 mark, look at the position of Kobe's far right foot in relation to the lamps shadow before he jumps. The car clearly passes over that position. |

Man, I need to get me a pair of those. Who needs to walk to school when I can jump to school? Who needs crosswalks, I'll jump the whole thing from one side to the other. On a serious note, they look nice, better than his previous pair with the net-like image.  at Kobe and Turiaf's conversation.

I don't know if I said this yet, but Kray, if that is your baby girl in your avatar, she's adorable bro.
As for the Hyperdunk debut: not really good in shooting the ball...I guess they will have to come out with gloves or arm sleeves called the Hypershot. However the Hyperdunks did come into play when Kobe got way up there to block that shot!

Great marketing. It is fake. As others have stated 100 times, Lakers could rip up his contract for this. He isn't going to endanger his professional career for a car jump.
I love the creativity and the idea. It's getting a lot of buzz. They showed it on TNT tonight. I'm sure it will be talked about on all the afternoon ESPN shows. And they'll probably show it during the Sunday ABC game.
