Westbrook is expected to announce his decision to enter the NBA draft at the press conference for Love, the Los Angeles Times reported on Thursday.
One of two freshman to be named the Pac-10 Player of the Year, Love is expected to announce his decision to turn pro at a press conference alongside father Stan Love and Bruins coach Ben Howland at 4 p.m. EDT.
Westbrook. a sophomore guard, will also do the same, and similar to Love, he is not expected to hire an agent immediately, the report stated.
An incredibly talented athlete, the 6-3 Westbrook averaged 12.7 points, 4.3 assists and 3.9 assists in starting 34 of 39 games this season.
Along with his ability to outjump anybody he faced on the court, Westbrook also displayed the skill to lead a team, taking over the point guard duties when Darren Collison was slowed by an early-season injury.
Not projected to be taken before the latter half of the first round, Westbrook could return to the Bruins until June 16 as long as he does not sign with an agent. |

Next to Derrick Rose he is my favorite guard in the draft(yes, I'd draft him higher than OJ Mayo).

Westbrook is sweet. I expect him to be a Monta Ellis/Devin Harris type player, who plays great defense. He should be a leader in steals too.
