I was never a big Shaq fan, but at least some of his nicknames were sorta funny. I'm a big Kobe fan, but his "nicknames" are just sorry. Cape??? WTF?? freak2

That nickname rhymes with a word I don't ever want to hear associated with Kobe Bryant ever again. He's seriously stupid if he pushes for this to be his new nickname. It sets up jokes way too easy.

Besides, you should never give yourself a nickname. They are supposed to be bestowed upon you.

I can see some haters going from cape to rape with this nickname. Kobe really needs to change it. I'd get tired of hearing the same insult everyday when it comes to Kobe haters.

Poor Kobe. Growing up in Italy and Phily Sub-burbs he never got a chance to be given a nickname. A name that was GIVEN to him.

He should just call himself June Bug. No matter where you live theres a June Bug. Think about it, he could say "they called me June Bug back in Italy" and everyone would believe that. That homie June Bug is world wide.
