The Celtics better put this team away in five else the Magic or Pistons will make the Finals.

I see the Cavs giving them all they can handle...especially considering the Celtics can't win on the road.

Not sure about this one. I think the Celts have woken up but Lebron can dominate them. Celts in 6 hurl

I'm not rooting for the Celtics, I hate them, so go Cavs. They had trouble with the Hawks, they'll have trouble with LeBron and the Cavs, very winnable for Cleveland IMO.

Boston. In 5 -- if they can win on the road of course.

If Lebron's cast can produce on a consistent basis throughout the series, I could see it going up to 6. You never know, though. The Celtics are going to have to step up outside of Boston.

Stickied.

Wow. Stern is going to be torn about this one.

But Celtics should take this easily because they still have 3 HOFers.

Three superstars against one?

Look, there are a maximum of two superstars playing in this series. Ray Allen and Paul Pierce are not superstars. Sorry.

Ray and PP were both number 1 options on their teams throughout their career. They are all stars year after year. I think that qualifies them to be stars.

Rarely do I root for LeBron, but it's a no brainer here and I give him and his team a fair shot at pulling it off & winning this series. I HATE the Celtics' arrogance/cockyness with a passion. They haven't done a damn thing, and they act like they're the ish. They just barely beat an 8th seed under 500 record team Atlanta Hawks and that's something to be proud about and pound your chest for? KG's arrogance is an insult to people who think. Oh & that damn Gatorade commercial with the overly dramatic music, so annoying, so stupid.

Seriously.

I'll be rooting for the Cavs, but I'll say Celtics in 6.

Celtics are a deeper team than the Cavs. They won't be messing around here like in Round 1.

Not really. Being the best player on bad to okay teams doesn't make you a star.

I don't know if this will be as close as ATL. ATL posed problems for the Celts because of their speed and uber athleticism. Cleveland sans LeBron definitely is not as athletic. Though they do have great size. I'd favor the Celtics, but with LeBron going off against the Pistons last year, who knows.

Just my .02

James will abuse Boston but it won't be enaugh...

This series will be finished with 4-5 games in Boston's favor.

Anybody who has watched the NBA season knows that. Boston struggles against athleticism, speed and transition teams. Cavs are rather a slow team that plays half court basketball which perfectly fits Boston's style.

Boston would probably struggle against the Bobcats or Wizzards more than the Cavs.

Boston couldn't match Atlanta's athleticism, especially at the wing positions.

Atlanta couldn't win a game on the road for a reason, they're young and inexperienced.

The scary thing is, Boston now has to face the most athletic and physical 3 in the game. On top of that, Lebron has shown he can go into opposing houses and dominate while getting the calls.

I think Cleveland pulls the shocker and takes out Boston. I don't think they'll be able to contain Lebron and I think Lebron takes people out of games thanks to foul trouble.

Cleveland has a rally of old, yet experienced veterans. Big Z, Big Ben, Joe Smith, Wally Z. These guys can all have big games. Than you have x factors like Delonte West, Boobie Gibson, etc.

Cavs in 6.

What I saw in the Bos/atl series was just pathetic.

The Celtics are going to have to earn back my respect. Cavs in 5.

The big question will be

Who is Lebron going to guard?

Pierce? If he does match up with Pierce, PP will get him in foul trouble

Allen? if he checks Ray, he'll be tired from chasing him and running off screens

KG? He'll simply shoot over LBJ

Rondo? Then Delonte and Gibson's size will be taken advantage of

This is going to be interesting...

Before the Hawks series I would have easily said Celtics in 6..

However that was some of the most gutless play I;'ve seen from a 1 seed. I mean as much as I root for the hawks it should have been a sweep at best maybe 5 games.

They looked completely lost, confused, and flustered in those close games with atlanta. It was literally P.Pierce time and he didn't step up. I think it was like game 3 or 4 where they litearlly gave the ball to KG 5 or 6 times and came up empty against smith.

In clutch it was either let KG go wild or jack up a 3 from posey or ray.

At times Rando was missing point blank layups, Pierce can't handle the ball anymore missing a pt blank layup with no one around him, and letting J.Johnson run rampant. I seriously think Lebron will look like a HOF out there against them.

Plus another thing that scares me is their PG rotation situation. It's like who do I want..Do I want Rando or Cassell. Putting Cassell in like a 3 min left in a close game when he sat for so long was a horrid move and at the same time kills the confidence of your young PG.

It just something about how the Celtics play in the clutch that I don't think they can handle faceing one of the most impressive clutch teams in the league. To beat the cavs they are a team you need to blow out. If you let them stay in it for 3 quarters Bron will go to work on you and I just don't think the c's can handle it.
