Talking about the Draft, I remember my first year in this forum reading post about Ike Diogu, Fran Vázquez... even that Deron Williams was slow... (and I remember some years ago Michael Jordan saying that Melo was better than LeBron... thousands of opinions but ... LeBron is great).

I always think the same, you must choose the best player, it doesn´t matter about the position... in my opinion. I can´t imagine how Andrea Bargnani or Andrew Bogut being a #1 Draft pick. Even Milicic was selectioned over Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh or Melo Anthony. It seems that Center position is always needed but... I would prefer the most talented/dominant player. Apart from 2003 and 2004 Drafts, where LeBron James and Dwight Howard were the best players without any doubt (in my opinion), sometimes you have to take a risk (as Oden or Durant), but for example, after three years, my top-3 for 2005 Draft would be Chris Paul, Deron Williams and Andrew Bynum. It just an opinion but... I wouldn´t choose a position over a player. And you have to consider potential and age too. I love to watch Chris Paul (the new version of Isiah Thomas?) and Deron Williams (of course, he is not "Magic" but... he is playing very well).

The future is nice with some players, and there are more than one team with potential. Who will win in the East (Boston, Cleveland or Detroit)? And in the West? And the Finals...? Boston vs L.A., Kobe vs. LeBron... ??? a lot of nice possibilities (at least, if the Lakers are included on them...)... well, sorry, this last part, it doesn´t about the Draft but...

Go Lakers !!
