Just rebound. When they push off, flop.

I thought we hated floppers? man3

How about just do a proper box out?

let's try somewhere in between.

box out, but if they get pushed so they can't reel it in, accentuate the push a little bit. but yeah, try boxing out first.

If Kobe does that, then he should hand the MVP to Paul.

why?

cos this isnt about Kobe. This is about the Lakers winning the game, not Kobe breaking the record to celeberate his MVP.

PS. Im sure GG was just kidding anywany, and am sure Kobe is very focused on winning the game

I simply cannot see Kobe allowing the Lakers to lose this one.

This time Utah will not be able to destroy us on the boards since Odom will have an impressive double-double, but still possibly they may outrebound us with a slight margin. Williams will create more problems for the Lakers, but on the other hand Fisher will perform much better against him by means of offensive production. And i expect Kobe and Gasol to play that sweet pick and roll game in several possessions. This will be tougher than the first game but we will make it 2-0.

Prediction -> Lakers - Jazz : 107 - 103.

I think the Lakers will be geeked up for tonight's game. I think the game will be closer than Game 2 but I see the Lakers winning, 103-96.

All we got to hope for is that the Magic Piston's game finishes quickly; no free throws or timeouts.

Looking at the clock and where the game is right now (close to beginning the 3rd quarter) I think their making pretty good timing!

I'm like you though I really really really want to see Kobe's MVP Presentation LIVE!!! jam2

Well, damn the last 2:45 of this 3rd quarter has taken like 5 minutes

Rediculous on how many free throw attempts, hurry up and end the game!

Hey, does anyone know when or where of if they'll be showing Kobe's MVP presentation tonight complete?

Apparently Fox isn't showing the game at all so no chance there. NBA TV has nothing scheduled on it, nor does kcal, cbs, and I doubt ESPN News would show it. TNT will probably go from the Detroit game to the laker game at around tip off and not show it. If anything all media outlets will probably just show highlights and unfortunatley not the whole thing.

Does anyone know if possible or where the whole MVP presentation can be viewed/seen?

Perhaps on youtube eventually via someone's perspective from the crowd, or will there be an official video recorded and posted somewhere on the net?
I don't want to see just highlights, I want to see the WHOLE THING.

They'll probably hold off on the presentation until the first game is done (on TNT).

Someone on another blog mentioned that they changed the tip time to 8 o'clock. We might see it.

GODDAMNIT! I want Detroit and Orlando to get locked in their locker rooms for 2 weeks for delaying this historical moment...it's like meeting the Pope. You don't delay the Pope.
