Lakers need to look at Game 3 as a must win....it will be a backbreaker if they can win in Utah.

I have little doubt though that Kobe will play for keeps though...he's not letting the Jazz get back in the series. He's got a foot on the throat right now, and he's going to get the rest of the guys ready to make the kill.

LOL.. it's probably time that Kobe stops bringing his kids to the press conference.. at least not together.. maybe when/if the lakers win the championship.. that press conference was just too much watching those kids distract, though they are cute.

Seriously, Gianna kept kissing her sister, and then kissing Kobe, and then Gianna kept trying to poke her sister in the eye, and then started kissing her again. I was just laughing at them.

the younger one is always the naughty one.. Natalia was/is well-behaved and Kobe can get away with having her with him at the PC.

this series should be over in 5.

The Jazz had probaly the biggest advanate in offensive rebounding and still couldn't get it done.

The MVPand Fish continue to dominate the backcourt match up...

Sasha again delivered on offense, though he got burned by Korver a couple of times...Turiaf striking fear yet again in the heart of Deron...tremendous block, again...

Odom rebounded twell this time but Millsap got him a couple of times with the and 1s...Pau with 5 blocks and more shot alterations but was out of position most of the time which caused a not so pleasing rebound line...passable work on the boards by the Lakers..

Anybody seen Vlad this series? Talk about disappearing. Hopefully he contributes on the road...Walton the Harpring stopper? or is it the other way around? mhihi I love these little match-ups: Luke vs. Harpring, Sasha vs. Korver...too bad there's no Millsap vs. Turiaf..

Hopefully Boozer would still be a lil cat in Utah.. man12

This time Utah will not be able to destroy us on the boards since Odom will have an impressive double-double, but still possibly they may outrebound us with a slight margin. Williams will create more problems for the Lakers, but on the other hand Fisher will perform much better against him by means of offensive production. And i expect Kobe and Gasol to play that sweet pick and roll game in several possessions. This will be tougher than the first game but we will make it 2-0.

Prediction -> Lakers - Jazz : 107 - 103.

Not bad. I couldn't watch the game this time but as far as i read the comments and see the highlights, although we couldn't slam the door shot on Utah, we didn't have much difficulty in beating them again. I know that statistics don't tell the story all the time but the fact that "when the home team wins the first two games in a seven game series, they win the series 94% of the time" is strong enough to make me believe that we are about to reach WCF.

Another stat says that when the Lakers started the playofffs with six consecutive wins, they ended up with three championships and a final. Yeah, for me, as of now, we are the favorites to win it all.

Here are some other stats that favor us. Lakers are 35-1 when winning the first 2 games of a series. Phil is 39-0 when winning the first game of a series.

NBA Playoffs: Lakers Plow Ahead to 6-0, Travel to Utah For Game 3

Six down, ten to go.

With the way the Lakers have dominated their six playoff games, it seems not to be a question of "if", but a question of "when".

The Lakers of Los Angeles have outscored their opponents by an average of 12.3 points per game so far this postseason. Leading the charge is league MVP, Kobe Bryant.

Bryant seemed to be at the top of his game in the Denver sweep, averaging 33.5 points per contest. Two wins against Utah later, and he is averaging an outstanding 36 points per game.

The Lakers not only seem to be dominant...
