The one weakness I've seen so far with NO defense is with interior passing. The only time SA gets an easy basket is off a close quarters pass. We need to exploit this for sure.

She's no worse or better than the rest of these ESPN announcers. She knows the game of basketball, that's fairly obvious. I wonder if she had a penis, would y'all be complaining about her?

Ummm...yeah I would. You don't let a play like CP3 just pulled get away without giving your best one liner. Every good commentator worth their salt practices and saves up that spectacular one liner. You don't think Kevin Harlan just spontaneously pulled "sucked the air out of the MSG". Do you? |

Whatever, man. I am not gonna get into a pissing contest with you about this. Both of these announcers are dull as hell....the obvious sexism that is coming from certain people's posts shows me we have a long way to go in terms of gender.

I don't like the way Chris Paul carries himself. I love his game, he's incredible, but I don't like his attitude. He's becoming quite a serious flopper, like when Oberto bumped him and he went spinning like a ballet dancer. He also pushes guy angrily if they touch him kinda as if he thinks hes above that and should get every call. He's kinda acting like a superstar even though he hasnt' earned that and has only been here 3 years. He's making a name with his play, but you don't get the right to think you're above everyone else touching you, especially the world champions.

I'm a chick and I have no issue with you saying that if she's a crappy commentator she's a crappy commentator.
However if you start saying derogatory things like she's a [Swearing is not permitted at Clublakers. You must edit this post prior to submitting.] or something as heinous then I would have an issue with that. |

Totally feel you on this. Dude throws elbows and gives a "Get the F off me" look. Then when you give him a bit of contact, he's starting to flop and the refs are buying it.

Why do you think some of us are sexist, she's garbage and that's it, everyone on the board talks crap about various announcers when they suck, there is lots of hate for Reggie, some hate for Mike Tirico (or whatever his name is). Even though Reggie has been more acceptable to me since his "full steam of head" comment on Lebron during the Wiz.
I haven't seen anyone make comments relating to her doing a bad job because she is a women, it is just that her voice is boring, and she does not react to anything.
If you are upset about us calling her out by saying "The female commentator sucks" it's just because most of us don't know her name, and her craptastic commentating doesn't warrant for us to find out her name. |

But see Kobe's attitude is different. He likes the contact, the challenge. If you bump him, he goes at you harder. He doesn't flop and gives you this mean stare for bumping him like no one's allowed to touch him.
