Clearly proven by his team high 10 assists.

Get off my arse man. I am referring to the OT period.

Mind your own backyard.

Amazing how LeBron sucks the big one in two straight games in Boston and doesn't even get blamed for a thing.

No, Kobe cost us the game. He kept taking bad shots after bad shots... Phil even told Kobe to stop forcing shots and to run the offense. The Lakers went into OT because of Fisher and Odom not because of Kobe. bang

There you go. Its up to phil to coach the team and take Kobe out.

I would have taken him out when we were down by 2 and he went to his knees in pain.
But Phil allowed Kobe to do that.

Exactly. If Sasha had been the one taking those same shots in ISOLATIONS, who do you blame? Sasha or Phil. Use your heads, people.

Some of the ignorance that I read on this forum, it is so sad.

I am not saying Kobe is guilty but 13-33 throws... I know he was injured.
I see this series going to 7 games...hopefully...

I just hope Kobe recovers.

Regardless whether you are a Lakers fan or a Kobe fan, when your franchise player shows that much heart and toughness playing away from home, you don't disregard what he's done in these Playoff series so far just because of one game.

Regardless whether you are a basketball fan or not, the least you can do is appreciate what he's brought to the table for us as a team.

its not hating

its called the truth

kobe played good the through the 4 quarters

but in OT he kept firing up ill advised shots

just pulling up and shootings threes that were just waaay off (1 air ball too)

i know hes hurt, but you gotta adjust and move the ball around

Utah played it perfect! Stop blaming Kobe. They knew he was injured so they played him one on one. No help coming even when Kobe tried to drive because they knew AK could recover. This left us with no other option because the defenders stuck to their assignments.

We couldn't post Pau cause he's been playing crappy one on one. We should have iso'd LO and have Pau come over for a screen!!! But we didn't so blame the team! Not Kobe, not the refs, not the coaches!!!

Nah, I would have kept Kobe in the game, but let Odom, Fisher, and Gasol take over on offense. The reason why I would have kept Kobe in the game is because I don't trust Sasha and Farmar is the new Smush.

Kobe is a warrior and he wants to play... I would still take an injured Kobe over Sasha and Farmar.

Lakers win game 5 and 6.

Horrible game all around, but some bad calls really stuck out to me.

Ronny's flagrant 2. Horrible call, flagrant 1 I'd agree with since he knocked him down hard but was still going for the ball up top. Not having ronny to back up Pau was huge, DJ was off when he came in with Ronny being unavailable.

Fisher's clear path in the 3rd. Fish had a breakaway to the basket, all the jazz were either even or behind him yet the refs don't call it that way. Could of used those free throws in a OT game.

Luke's fast break no call. I think it was price or brewer who followed Luke on the break yet there was no call. He got all ball up top sure, but if you have half a brain you can see that about a foot lower his head and upper body are getting hammered which is a obvious foul.

I'll be the first to admit that missed free throws and poor decision making were the factors under our control that cost us the game, but to be in a OT game where so many bad calls had a large impact on the score just drives me nuts. This is the kinda game the league needs to look into for at the very least official incompetence, starting with what will surely be a reversal of the flagrant 2 call on Ronny to a flagrant 1.

I cannot believe how many people are hating on KOBE right now...He's the only dude in the game that kept the offense together..his penetration, his sheer presence on the court created opportunities for everyone else...and he did all that with a bad back and some 59032 other injuries he doesn't let us know about...the man is the reason we got back into OT; yes he took some illadvised shots, but without him we wouldnt have even been this close to winning the game

laker fans are far too fickle-minded...one bad game by an injured kobe and let's burn him at the stake...give me a break

WHO's the reason we got into OT?? KB you say??? what game were you watching???

Its not hard to blame the MVP for this one but he is human afterall...If he was not in pain I would wholeheartedly endorse Kobe ball but he was chucking non-sensical shots in OT which was really stupid...He has to run the offense and TRUST his teammates who brought the team in overtime..

Moving the ball=perfect triangle offense

Kobe ball=giving a mediocre team a chance to close you out.

Don't worry though, he'll be back and will crush these bastiches to kingdom come

You obviously don't know the history of posters on there. Gasol is one of the worst. His only posts are to bash the Lakers whenever we struggle. If thats you're cup of tea, he might be your best friend.

Okay, so why did they keep putting the ball in his hands knowing he's hurt? If the team is expecting him to deliver and putting him in that position, does he really have a choice? The team as a whole made terrible decisions such as the ones Kobe did in overtime. Had they not done that, we would've been in a position to win the game in REGULATION.

I know Kobe is hurt & all. Jumpshots are easy to take when you're injured, but I still thought Kobe had enough to take it to the hole. Finish there or kick it out. ISO jumpshots sucks when they're aren't falling. No one else is getting a chance to touch the ball.

Kobe needs to rest and heal. I have had a lower back injury since January and it hasn't gone away.

I really hope Staples Center wakes the F up on Wednesday and gives our guys support.

Thank you.
for the record, im a fan of both. alright?
Kobe scored over 30pts today with an injured back.
i saw his pain throughout the entire game. but yet he still managed.
he coulda thrown in the towel early and told coach that he couldnt do it.
but after that play with AK47 & Kob, i knew how much he was hurting

Oh please. Just because I defend Kobe, that means I'm on his jock? Anyone with half a brain could figure out that if anyone is to blame, it's Phil for continuously putting Kobe in isos. So of course I'm going to defend Kobe since that's not his fault. He couldn't move well because of the back. What do you expect him to do when the team has him in isos and is throwing him the ball? He rarely drove to the basket because of the back. It's not that hard if you use your brain to figure things out.
