I decided to avoid the clutter with refs threads and decided to make one official thread. Here is where I'll post the refs for each of our games, and my thoughts as well. We can all talk about the officiating here.
Officiating Crew for Game 6: Joey Crawford, James Capers, Scott Foster
(Sorry I could not find pictures of the other 2).
Forecast: The officiating should be alright tomorrow night, this is a much more efficient crew than I thought the NBA would assign for Game 6. Joe Crawford is the meanest, harshest, and most unphased ref in the league. Though I'll admit he can be a homer at times, he's one of the only refs I know who will not allow the Utah fans to get under his skin and sway his calls. Same goes for Capers and Foster, but to a much lesser extent. Believe it or not, Joey finished much higher than both Scott and James in the "homer" statistics from the regular season. Foster is a damn good ref IMO, and we've seen Capers a lot this year, both in LA and on the road, and he hasn't done anything really to cause me to say anything bad about him. Though Utah will do what they usually do at home, this crew will make sure everything remains calm and that the game is balanced and even. Don't expect Utah to get away with as much as they did in Games 3 and 4, but also don't expect the refs to just hand the game to the Lakers. The Lakers are going into a hostile environment - they need to adjust and they'll get the calls they deserve from this crew.
Prediction: Utah wins, but this prediction has nothing to do with the refs. We'll be fine on that end of the stick. This is an elimination game for Utah, and they thrive off of their home crowd. I'm sure it will be a close game, but we all know how difficult it is to pull out a victory there, let alone a WCF clinching game. If we limit our turnovers and play more physical on defense, we'll keep it close, and then it'll be anyone's game at the end. I just think Utah will pull it out at home as they always do. Though I hope I'm wrong, I expect a Game 7 on Monday guys. _________________ I drank a fifth of vodka, dare me to drive?

| The key will be getting up early/at halftime. As much confidence as the Jazz have at home, there will also be a lot of pressure, especially on Boozer. |

ahhhhhh five days without laker basketball. its going to be a long week.
but its good for the lakers to use that time to heal. i am sure kobe's back isn't 100percent yet so that would really help. i am just being selfish. |

It's going to be very tough. I think this is either a Utah blowout, or i goes down to the wire and the Lakers steal it.
Hopefully it's my second assumption. |

We definitly need to close it out tonight.
I don't think my heart can take a game 7.
I want to see 4 quarters of offensive ball movement and 4 quarters of defensive intensity.

| This game is going to be very, very hard to win. Utah isn't going to just roll over - they're going to come out with a lot of fire and intensity. We're going to have to be at the top of our game to pull this one out. |
