man3 Anyone with medical expertise have an opinion? I'm glad Drew was honest and knows what's best for him and what was at stake if he came back too early and did worse injury that could spell the end of his career.. I would think that surgery would be a benefit considering the doctors would be able to see first hand at what needs to be done where as hoping that time will heal it would be just guessing to the extent of healing and not really being sure of the extent of the injury. Bynum,Gasol, Kobe, Odom and Ariza... wow.. scary.. man4

When I had the same injury as Bynum, it took me about 6-8 months to recover. I did surgery after about 5 months and now I feel good. It has been 4 months since Bynum had his injury, so I think a surgery will benefit him.

Depends on how well he is recovering. If he is, then no cut is the obvious choice. But if he's not showing any improvement, then surgery it is.

I just hope that he comes back next year and realizes 20 games into the year that he needs surgery.
