Phillies sometimes starter Jayson Werth has two HRs early on against Toronto, giving him 7 RBI in just 3 innings. I know that's not even close to a record (I think some have hit 2 Grand Slams in 1 inning), but it's a huge number and the game is early. Could be one of those amazing numbers when it's all said and done. _________________

Wow thats pretty amazing. The most i have ever had is 4 in one game and that was tough as hell. 8 is just incredible, hopefully he can go for ten. _________________

I looked it up. Tatis IS the only one to do it. I thought Von Hayes had done it back in the day for the Phillies, but that was just two HR in one inning.
Werth fouled out. That may be his last plate appearance. _________________

Great game by Werth. I really liked him when he was with the Dodgers, he just couldnt stay healthy. He has a nice arm, speed and can hit for power. Really good player just has to stay healthy. _________________

He's a solid all-around player. He is showing newfound power though. 8 HR already...ties a career high I think. You're right about his health issues though. _________________
