didn't get to hear it, but saw this quote from another forum:

TOO LATE... BUT did anyone catch AM 570 today. Steve Hartman said that a UTAH radio host said, "It's bad enough I have to see Kobe's ugly mug but to see him bounce that Chea Pet (Kobe's daughter) on his knee is another thing."

Wow, not only are the fans classless, but so is the Jazz radio host. disagree

I could've sworn they said a caller said that, the hosts just thought it was hilarious.

Nothing new here, like I said, it's a damn shame that city/state has an NBA franchise. They don't even have an MLB team, NFL, NHL, MLS, etc.. hardly anything. They have a BYU team & some other minor stuff, but there's an obvious reason they don't share many franchises at all for the big professional sports. I don't know why in the heck David Stern decided to give Utah an NBA franchise. I can certainly think of plenty of other states/cities that would be deserving & worthy of an NBA franchise much more than Utah & be a lot more of a class organization all around.

Ridiculous. I can't even be angry about this, it's just stupid.

I feel bad for the nice people who live in Utah (if there are any).

Thats what they are, Jazz fans- classless, bitter, whatever. I mean how would you like it if for a few years your team sucked, the next decade your team had two HOF but still got dominated because of a great SG named Michael Jordan. Then after that your team sucked. After that you build a great team but you are again dominated because of another great SG who is like Michael Jordan in Kobe Bryant...

Actually, they do have an MLS team, Real Salt Lake. Your point is still correct though, there isn't a whole lot else for Utah sports fans to talk about.

It is sad. Bottom line, is we are moving on. They are not. All is left for them is to cry all summer. Next season, we will meet them with probably a full deck [i.e. Bynum and Ariza]. If they thought the Lakers are tough now, baby, you ain't seen nothin' yet!

The ironic thing is, as far as my girlfriends have told me, Kobe is one of the most attractive players in the NBA.

Stern was a lawyer for the NBA in 1979. Lawrence O'Brien was commissioner when the Jazz moved to Utah. One of the buyers moved it to Utah because his wife's family was there and because they hoped to eventually get the ok to transfer to Vegas. The league never approved it.

Well, he can have fun watching Kobe's ugly mug hoist that Larry OBrien on his television while he throws a beer at it. Or whatever they do in Utah for fun.

So many more cities and fans are deserving of an NBA team in their city, but the pathetic bunch in Utah had to get something going their way. After seeing the game last night and their reaction to their TEAMS bad play (as opposed to the refs) it just made everyone realize how hopeless they were.

Send New Orleans back to Oklahoma and move the Jazz to New Orleans. Those fans are far more deserving and grateful.

And as for the radio dude/caller he probably can't sleep at night because he knows he doesn't any credibility, and everyone else does too.

After looking at the above pic, I couldn't help but smile. I love the NBA.
