Limited Salary Protection/Non-Guaranteed contracts are the same thing, at least for the purposes in which they'll be handled in the game.
Per Larry Coon:

But since we are dealing with a condensed off-season and aren't conducting business during the regular season, they're included.
They are all making chump change, $700k-$900k I believe. So it really shouldn't cause any adjustments to your financial planning. If you don't want them, you can waive them later on.
