Absolutely. I was at Florida while he was there. The man is a tireless worker who can rebound and out hustle pretty much anyone on the floor.
If we did pick up Lee there would be no need to re-sign Turiaf tho. _________________ http://cfb365.blogspot.com |

This is falling in to place all too nicely.
Two trades:
Farmar for David Lee
Odom for Felton, Gerald Wallace, Sean May
Felton has the potential to be one of the best PGs in the league and he is a tenacious defender. Wallace is a stat stuffer and plays very hard (needs some more work on his shot). Sean May has been an injury waiting to happen but I must admit I wanted him in the draft with the Bynum pick (happy with Bynum now )
Larry Brown loves Odom and can't deny the expiring contract.
Fisher/Felton (eventual star-ter)
Bryant/Sasha
Wallace/Ariza/Vlad Rad
Gasol/Lee
Bynum/Turiaf
With Felton on the ball and Bynum in the paint our defense would be very good for years to come. _________________ "Be true to yourself and you will never fall." |

Cats and Knicks are discussing a Lee for Felton swap, I don't see them considering Farmar when Felton is a much better PG than Farmar will ever be. _________________

Agreed. Lets keep Famar and try to pick someone else. Lamar / Luke / Vlad are the ones that must go. _________________

Somehow I don't agree with that...
Statistically it's false and second it's a bit of a strange judgment on a guy who's never played the PG position in a free flowing offense, his specialty. |

^ There is a reason Felton was a top 5 pick and Farmar wasn't.
You think Farmar can be a 14 & 7 PG starting in this league?
He's too selfish to average more than 4 APG for his career. _________________

No offense, but do you guys actually BELIEVE this stuff you're writing? Good grief, the Knicks wouldn't give up Lee for Artest, yet they're going to let him go for our back up PG? That's just ridiculous. Yes, it is possible that one day Farmar might become a 14/7 PG, but the point is he's not proven to do that. David Lee can get them a guy who is doing it versus a "maybe one day" player/.
The other trade is just dreaming. Yes, Odom is worth more than Wallace ... they were trying to trade him for TJ Ford before the J'Oneal trade - but to think we'd get Wallace, Sean May AND Raymond Felton? Come on now, guys, let's stay somewhat realistic with these trade ideas.
Also, why do those who come up with these ideas, always have to say, "I know someone who knows someone in the Lakers organization who said..." Let's just admit we have an idea instead of putting that silly disclaimer on virtually every single trade thread that gets started. Have the guts to risk getting flamed instead of pointing to some phantom insider source. |

It does work, but I'm still leary of taking on Wallace. Great player, but fragile as all heck. There's a reason MJ is willing to trade a 25 year old, 20 ppg scorer who can board and bring it on the defensive end. Those players don't grow on trees. _________________

Quentin Richardson SF
David Lee PF
Jamal Crawford Combo Guard
from New York
for
Lamar Odom
Vladimir Radmanovic

I don't know about him, but I certainly think so.
Offense is not the concern for Farmar is this league. Defense is.
Farmar already posts about 5 assists per 36 minutes and that is in the triangle (an offense where no one has ever averaged 8 APG and where the "PG" isn't even the primary distributor). _________________
