We probably won't even make it to the playoff's next year. lakers are so soft like vagina's i can't even tell a woman from a Laker. |
If we trade for some defense players, I think we should be OK. Celtics did this in a year and they don't have a player like Kobe. |
the problem is that we dont practice defense enough
its all about the friggin triangle
this whole summer and training camp should be about team defense _________________

It would be nice if Phil could make some time and focus on pick and roll defense, I mean, that would be great.

Wow. One of the softest, weakest teams I've ever seen. Take your fake hollywood fans and learn how to root for a team.
Your fans suck. Your defense sucks. Kobe is alright, but he sucked this series. Vujacic sucks. Odom sucks.
I hate the Lakers and couldn't be happier that the Celtics absolutely embarrased them tonight. Forget about ever hearing another Kobe to Michael Jordan comparison. He truly out did himself this series and made it abundantly clear that he can't carry Harold Miner (aka Baby Jordan's) jock, let alone MJ's.
Have fun over the summer you frauds. |

Really? You made an account to log in and flame? Do you not have anything better to do with your time? Did your parents not hug you enough?
Kobe not being compared to MJ is a good thing, Kobe is Kobe. |

Least our "fake hollywood fans" didn't realize basketball existed at the start of the 07-08 season.
This is the end of the line for you. As for LA, we got plenty more to look forward to and to top it all off at the end of the day, we don't live in a rat hole of a dump like Boston. _________________

I find it hilarious that when a fan base should be celebrating, they have nothing better to do than troll on their opponent's site. Sorry you couldn't get more enjoyment out of your team's win. That tends to happen with bandwagoners.
Oh yeah, you're banned. _________________

What a lack of defense and Heart. Kobe made 3 nice 3-pointers in a row, fowled on the next, and barely was given the ball afterwards. If I was Phil, I'd make sure Kobe had the ball 50% of the time. He didn't get to shoot the ball after that for so time that he was long gone out of "The Zone" and sadly never came back.
PAU... ... ... You're a big man... but you remind me of an elephant scared of a mouse. You should have snapped Garnett in half... I could tell Odom wanted to... and wished he would have. Gasol acted as if the ball had germs on it... he held it as far away from his body as he could, which led to many turnovers. The potential is there, but the mindset isn't. However, that is something that can be changed.
Maybe its just me, but I wouldn't sit Kobe out going into the 4th quarter in a do or die game such as that. That made me sick... yes we were down by 29, but isn't there such a thing as a comeback??? The thing I hate the most about being down so much is everyone thinks they have to shoot a 3 pointer... An easy, more likely, 2 pointer would have done just fine. It's called "Chipping Away" at the lead... So things that needs to be practiced...
In my opinion, the Celts should have been taken out of the game for poor sportsman like conduct. What was that with Garnett holding his tongue out at Odom in the fourth quarter (Of course, no call on Boston)??? And what was the deal with pouring Gatorade on Doc Rivers with like 2 minutes still left in the game... it splashed everywhere onto the court. I understand by that time that it was pretty much too late to comeback... but what the hell? Very unprofessional, but what do you expect from a bunch of Boston kids???... I don't care if we were down by 100, the Celtics should have been thrown out of the game for their actions. It would have been too bad, so sad for them.
Our team is young, and will have many more opportunities in the future... but will have to be MUCH, MUCH, MUCH more aggressive to the basket, and play with their HEART... They should really think about hiring a motivational speaker!!! |

Our lack of defense showed up again.
We'll be back better and stronger defensively next season. _________________

IIRC, the thread for Game 5 of the 04 Finals against the Pistons was open for a very long time.
I just checked. The Lakers lost on June 15th and the thread was closed on October 3rd. _________________

Why do the Lakers always go down like that in elimination games...I mean they always get RAPED...twice by the Suns, now with Boston...this team either has no confidence at all or doesn't care at all... _________________

I hate how they keep showing this game on NBATV. I certainly don't watch it, but I'm just reminded when I check the programs scheduling. |
