If you could choose between who you would prefer to broadcast the games on TV, who you choose? IMO both are great at their jobs and are able to broadcast in an unbiased way, which is great compared to those homers working for other stations. My vote goes to Spero though because his voice sounds better than Meyers, who kind of sounds monotone and i really enjoy listening to him on the radio and i would more often if it weren't for the fact that i prefer watching the game instead of listening to it.

But if we replace Meyers then who's going to come up with all the nicknames from now on? man1

Oh my bad, according to the highly credible ESPN, certain nicknames (eg. 'the machine) are self appointed.

Haha, but seriously I actually like Joel. He does have a monotone voice but he's pretty knowledgeable and he knows his stuff. He's a hardcore Laker fan at heart and even though commentators are supposed to be unbiased you can hear his love and enthusiasm for the Lakers during game.

AMEN to this. I miss Paul so badly, and I am appalled at how the Lakers organization treated him. The broadcasting team was perfect the way it was. Joel and Mycheal had about as perfect of chemistry as you can get on the radio. You don't mess with that.

without ANY doubts, THE BEST...I chose Spero because it was asked Spero or Myers...

if we had a shot to get KH, we would be absolutely NUTS to not do it...I also like Mike Breen's voice a lot but he has no basketball IQ whatsoever...

Spero loves to say, "and he lays up it off GLASSSSS." Myers, at least he shows some incredible enthusiasm during laker runs and magical moments. i love Joe. and it rubs off greatly on Stu.
