could you see him as a good fit for cheap. Coming off a injury and lost pt last year. He could compete with Mihm for the back up spot and is only 23. He is from my neck of the woods (Bakersfield) jam2

The Lakers due to luxury tax will have to pay double basically for anyone they sign so they will sign no one who isn't an impact player this coming season. They are looking for impact players, not someone to help in future and that in my opinion is what Swift is.

Swift was on the verge of becoming a REALLY good C...

but I will pass...we need defense and Swift is as soft as any C I have seen.

We need a guy that pushes people around, a bruiser

Thank you, finally someone who gets it. Instead of all the weirdos who kept arguing for getting the Gerald Green's of the world.

Sick and tired of that ... "has potential" crap.

I'm from Bakersfield too.

I used to watch the cat back in high school, and I followed him pretty close in the NBA. The dude sucks. Believe me. He's also dumb, and I mean hella dumb. Worse than a rock. I say hell no.

While we're at it let's also take a look at Ricky Davis, or the Birdman out of New Orleans. Hell maybe we can bring back JR Rider and Smush Parker.

Maybe even try to convince Roy Tarpley to come out of retirement and play for the vet minimum.

Seriously. Every time you turn around, he's been on the injury list.

Not even sure he could play a full season in the WNBA.

I heard the Thunder/Barons/Oilers/Outlaws/Roughnecks would do anything in their power to lock this softie up.
