His play hasnt really regressed all that much. For whatever reason Nellie just doesnt like playing the guy. He's a great athlete who can score. I think he would be a good addition to our bench mob.

I like Pietrus, but now that I live in the Bay Area I've had the opportunity to witness his mental blunders on more than a few occasions.. But hey, if the price is right, I would definitely take a chance on him, you can never have enough perimeter defenders that can slash and hit a three.. Plus they used to call this guy "The French Jordan" so maybe there's still some potential there...

From another thread that was just locked:

(thanks to Kobe8Fan for the find)

Pietrus, who keeps a home in his native Guadeloupe in the Caribbean, had interest in the Heat but McCandless said the Heat discussed possible scenarios that could entice the veteran but never made an offer.

McCandless declined to say which team Pietrus is nearing a deal with, but said the teams that expressed interest other than the Heat were New Jersey, New York, Detroit, San Antonio, Seattle, Atlanta, Orlando, Boston and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Lakers are the Newt French Connection jam2

Seriously, Pietrus can be a good bench player but I think he is not interested about that role. He wants to start, so i don't think he'll come to L.A.

Not worth the MLE or most of the MLE.

He isn't playing with a full deck. There's no way he could learn the offense, meaning Phil wouldn't play him.

American? Euro? What difference does that make? man3

Pietrus plays the same way as he would if he were from Omaha.

Pietrus doesn't play like an european. Opposite of Tony Parker.
