STFU. |
No. _________________ Kobe Byant has brought the Lakers three championships, 4 Finals in 5 years, carried an absolutely pathetic team to the playoffs in the loaded Western Conference twice and almost upset the so-called MVP, and has given us countless thrills and memories. If you are not a Kobe fan, then you are not a Laker fan, period. |

| Lakers are doing it the right way. It looks like they learned the hard way after tossing a contract out there to Walton so quickly. |

What I want to know is what team was targetting Walton at that time? Why give the MLE to an LLE guy _________________ fortuna favet fortibus |

| The front office playing it smart no need to give either of them crazy offers when no one has offered them anything big yet. |

More than half of the Lakers fans worldwide do the same with Kobe, so who cares? _________________ How can you be the king if you have never sat on the throne? |

Because our love of Kobe isn't the same as an undying love for a mid-level player. |

It's because there is nothing to report. Teams can't sign players until tomorrow, meaning players can't be signed to offer sheets until...tomorrow. _________________

| Dont' worry I have a feeling he'll be re-signed for better or worse. At just over 4m he'd be a good re-singing. I personally don't think it gets better for him than here and as such he'll sign with us. |

I tell you something:
Forget about Ronny. I love the guy but 17 million is too much. We can afford to lose him.
But what we definitely can NOT afford:
LOSING SASHA.
He is a striving defender, a deadly shooter and by far the leagues best flopper
and don't forget: he is big and in his early career at Udine he played the point guard position. even though his ballhandling isn't that impressive...a 6'7 point guard who can defend...WOW!!
if any of you guys know one player in this league who can do the things sasha does for the lakers, please tell me.
and don't forget: Vujacic is PJ's favorite player. |

| Now that it seems like Ronny to GS is all but a done deal, I'm seriously praying that we do everything in our power to keep Sasha. There's just no way were losing both of our energy guys of the bench, and with Sasha, not only did he bring that energy, but he was undoubtedly our best bench player all year long. I hope Mitch decides to match offers for Sasha as long as they aren't in the "absurdly too high" range. |
