all kidding aside, i just think he picked up on it cause he is a NBA/bball blogger AND it is the most recent championship series
i doubt he his goal was to humiliate the lakers or something, and not everyone knows that merchandise for both teams are made during a championship series |

Somehow, I don't think that's happening. So the guy isn't a dumbass for reporting this, he's a dumbass because it's not pro-Laker. Gotta love it. It's like all the power rankings and articles that don't say the Lakers are the bestest team in the world are all written by dumbasses. |

No, not really. Just sick and tired of people calling Hollinger a tool/dumbass/whatever when he predicts the Lakers would lose to Utah.
Then when he predicts the Lakers to beat the Spurs in 5 (which they did), it was "HOLLINGER PREDICTS LAKERS BEAT SPURS IN 5!! Let's post about it!!!"
Then when he predicts the Celtics to beat the Lakers, he's back to being a dumbass again. It's gotten to the point where you're only a 'tool
as you so eloquently put it when you write ANYTHING satirical or negative about the Lakers and a God when you write something positive. Very very unoriginal.
And anyone who has the word "Admin" under their name, I'd expect more than name calling and personal attacks like "you fail at reading comprehension". You should be setting examples, good examples for the ClubLakers community. Unless, you feel this is appropriate behavior going forward for ClubLakers? Please respond.

See this is why I brought up reading comprehension.
You see, in my initial post I basically said Skeets was a dumbass for bringing up the obvious. This has nothing to do with positivity or negativity, it's idiotic and it would have been idiotic if he did the same thing with the Celtics DVD if we had won. Losing teams have merch made for them, yeah, that's news alright.

For some so advanced in the skill of reading comprehension, I'm surprised you were unable to pick up on the fact, that the article was a satire.

It's not even making fun of the Lakers, it's making fun of CBS: "Obviously the DVD's were made before the Lakers lost the NBA Championship, and CBS just wants to unload them and squeeze some cash out of a handful of idiots."
It's pointed at CBS and how are they going to plan to make and sell a DVD about something that never happened.
He's not making fun of the Lakers AT ALL. Why is this so hard for you? Please, try to understand this because EVERYONE else does. |
