| Didn't read the article but even if Miles was able to get into good physical shape, he doesn't have anything to offer to this Lakers team. We are overloaded at the SF position, and he'd be way to undersized to play the 4. |

Yeah and while we're picking up guys who haven't played in over two years, how about we take a look at Keith Van Horn? _________________ * L.A. Lakers * N.Y. Giants * FSU Seminoles *

You want him to come to LA where the weed is better than in Portland? _________________ I "act" for free they pay me to wait. |

At the mention of the name Darius Miles, my first thought was
However, after reading the article I don't think it's ridiculous to think Miles might be picked up somewhere next season.
I've always thought of Miles as a player who depended heavily on his considerable athletic ability. Who knows what kind player he is now that he doesn't have it anymore? I hope he can make it back, but he's another "Try before you buy" player.
I don't want to see anymore free-agent pickups sitting on the bench in street clothes. |

I read that he has been looking good in his comeback bid. He's obviously in possession of more upside than Van Horn. That's a preposterous comparison. _________________

He's still young and potential is a hell of a word, i wouldnt mind giving him a try out. We did pay that injured bust Mihm 2.5 mill, so why not give D-Miles a chance. _________________

MoFo is 6'10" 285 lbs.
I don't know at what weight he plans to play at once he loses some blubber and how athletic he will be but he has "grown" in the last few years. |

I don't know where he would get minutes on our team. He's too small to play the 4 and he won't get minutes over Ariza or Phil's favorite Luke at the 3 I think if he's coming back it would be with a team that would give him more pt than us. _________________ Mark Jackson-"My statement [last season] was that at the end of the day Kobe will be considered better.

I would gove him a shot for the minimum. He's 26, has skills and said the knee feels fine. It was his right knee, but he is right handed and probabbly need his left knee more to jump and stuff. _________________ http://www.andrewbynum.com/andrewbynum/CMS/Gallery/ab_pg9_th.jpg |

No thanks, he is done...
He relies on his athleticism and he had microfracture surgery, go figure...
He is overweight now and this guy is a headcase... not to many our logjam at SF... _________________ The Kwame Brown Song - credit: kidvideo

Darius Miles isn't 6'10 and he's nowhere near 285. Or, assume he is at present, that's clearly not his body type and the extra weight on a questionable knee is a bad idea. Miles is a SF. _________________

LOL yeah I thought the same thing, that man looked like he had tape worms in his stomach or some kind of eating disorder 6"10 195 sounds about right for his playing weight. _________________ lakersdodgersraiders |

On second thought, I might bring him in to see what he can do. Besides, screwing with Portland would be a bonus. But knowing their owner, it wouldn't make a big difference.

Dallas is taking a look at him, and mentioned he can still got some hops. |

It said he can do a flat footed jump and touch the top of the square on the backboard Also said he isn't in basketball shape I'd say no to him. |
