I remember emply said on a radio show that the Lakers and Trailblazers are looking at a trade of Brian Grant for Derek Andersen and Ruben Pattersen.

If this happened i would be more than pleased and not because of who were getting but that were getting rid of Brian Grants Contract in for two Players who can actually contribute of the bench.

Emplay didn't say that. Actually it was Dave Smith, and it was just what he wanted to see happen. So that pretty much means it aint happening.

depends...when are their deals expiring? if they're long term contracts (which i don't believe they are), then portland would do the deal, but the lakers wouldn't. short term deals, i'd do it.

if anything he would take the role of oversized point, he's played the point before and hes not a bad defender

Not bad actually. We get a good backup pg and a better backup SF then George. J Jones could then back up the 2. Even better would be if we threw in Atkins, George, or Vlade and a future 2nd rounder for Ratliff
