| Dayam, I hope we can pull through and win this one.. if Kobe plays, I think he'll have a rough start... I still think we'll be able to pull this game off, maybe we'll win by 6 or 8... Be expecting a big game from Slava. |

| Everyone needs the practice.. That's why PJ is increasing Shaq's minutes to get him prepared for the season. |

Im gonna take a different view on this and say that the Lakers will lose...
We will start off good and we'll lead 27-21 after one...then Phil will sit our stars out and put in tha camp invitees to get a second look at them...and they will blow the game again and we'll be down 58-40 at half time...then we'll TRY to come back with our stars...and we'll cut tha lead down to 78-66...and then we'll sit our stars again in the 4th and we'll lose 101-90
I just wanna take a different view of this game...the suns are a good team...and like every team in the preseason...they will play their stars for most of tha game jus to beat the lakers like Golden State did...well GS didnt play NVE, J Rich and all them but they did play other guys that were at a MUCH HIGHER level than our camp invitees... _________________ Michael:"Peter where the hell were u yesterday what were u doin?!"

thats actually a great view...the Lakers seemed to have to have a breakdown offensively and defensively at times...it's just a matter of consistency and court savvy. Remember when Nick Van Exel shot that three before the half--too open. Remember when Jason Richardson made a reverse off a lob from Nick? Too much spacing between Rich and the defender. Man, the Lakers need to improve on the defensive end even with their great defenders. Not too many defensive plays have been sequenced and you can't all win with X's and O's. FabFour has got a great point, cause the down time sequence may happen again against the Suns in the 2nd quarter. People start cooling off, Gary and Karl decide to take the shots by themselves, and less assists leading to more frustration. I don't think the Suns are good, contrary to what you may think, only their starters except without a center. No bench except underrated JJ. But anyways, I'd say the Lakers should have an easy time and beat them 93-88 _________________ Ideal Lakers: Kirk Snyder, Derek Anderson, Fred Jones, Theo Ratliff, Mickael Gelebale Others of interest: Ricky Davis, Jason Williams, Bonzi Wells, Quinton Ross, Yakhouba Diawara, Walter Herrmann, Salim Stoudamire, Devin Brown, Michael Finley, Juan Dixon, Brian Skinner, Jamaal Magloire, Kareem RushMORE |

Some camp invitees will be cut by Tuesday. Remember Phill said he will cut a couple on Monday.
I think we can say bye to Archibong and Chenowith. Carter hasn't gotten all that much time to be evaluated really. So he'll get another week to live I predict. |

I'm with posto on Archibong, but Carter stands no chance on making the cut as a guard, and the coaching staff will probably release him soon so he has a shot elsewhere.

It doesn't look like Kobe will be playing though. _________________

They haven't confirmed it, but PJ said it's highly unlikely and a better date would be Thursday or Friday. _________________

| Even though I think he is the most anticipated player in sports right now, we should allow him to play when HE's ready. |

Phil Jackson said Sunday he doubted Bryant would start the regular season on the injured list and even hoped Bryant would be capable of playing on Thursday or Friday night in exhibition games at Staples Center. Bryant, who had arthroscopic surgery on July 1, probably won't play much in any case.
"From Kobe's standpoint, he looks like he's still pretty quick, he has some strength, he has some quickness and jumping ability early in practice," he said. |

Kobe, Shaq, Russell, Cook, Grant are all injured..
I'm looking forward to GP and Karl getting more time and George knocking down some big shots aswell as Slava and Pargo..
I wanna see Slava and Pargo dominate like they did in game 1. |
