Got this from LG but don't know if this guy is legit. Anyone else hear anything about this?

Yeah, I know something. Denver is looking to move Kmart, because Nene is expected to start next year. Since Kmart isn't going to accept being a non-starter, he's gonna be traded.
How are the Lakers involved? Well, the Lakers asked for Nene in exchange for Butler, Kiki said hell no, but eventually talks evolved into the current Kmart for butler + ??? deal. It has a very good chance of happening -- I'd say about a 75% chance |

I hate Martin's mentality on and off court, but if given the choice between Kwame or Kenyon its obvious you have to take Kenyon.
How is this possible under the salary cap? Though the span between matching salaries has increased, it hasn't increased that much, unless Caron is making a whole lot of money nobody knows about. They'd have to package 3 or 4 guys to get close to the percentage to match. Even then, Kenyon's salary would destroy the Lakers cap and their goal of being comfortably under the cap in 2 years.
I doubt this, anything is possible I guess, but I doubt it. _________________ "A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty." - Winston Churchill |

Kenyon Martin is better than Kwame Brown. Kenyon has that aggressive nature the Lakers lack. _________________ KOBE + BYNUM & TURIAF + GOOD PG = SELL OUT CROWD! BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS LA! |

K-Mart is a good fit but has a radioactive contract. I would like him for Butler and scruns BECAUSE we know we would get rid of a couple of scruns like Cook, Slava and co. _________________

They need a shooting guard, and we could use a starting power forward. Nuggets might be motivated by the expiring K's for future flexibility. Perhaps this is the former All Star power player we've been working on????
Seems like a long shot, but they are overstocked at the 4. _________________ Dee_J wrote:

If we get Kmart for Buttler + some of no use players that we have , then we don't have to worry about his contract and the future as he will be the good PF that we need.Other than that who else we are looking at to add for the power forward?????

we shouldnt trade caron at all, he shows signs of becoming a great player. If we were to trade someone why dont we trade Odom. Plus caron already has a good relationship with kobe. dont trade caron |

| The Nuggets don't want a small forward, they want a shooting guard. Hey, they could attract Mobley, so what the hell? It aint happening. |

Cutino is signing with the clips, seems to me that they are having trouble withn so they got to let go of K-mart or Nene. With K they got just as far in the playoffs as with Nene who u think they're gonna keep? The extremely cheaper Nene, or the more expensive K-mart? Caron is making some buzz!! |

| There is no way Nuggets will trade Kenyon Martin for Caron Butler when they already have Carmelo Anthony. |

| i highly doubt it, if someone wrote it in the last pages, sorry for stealing your answer. but if they just signed him last year, why they want to let go of him this year? let alone, nene isn't even that good, and caron could be a bust. |
