Y we have not pursued him is a mystery. I know he does dominate the ball a bit but so does GP. Why not give him a chance

The injured guy from Duke? As of April 30th, his trainer told him that he wouldn't make it in the league. I really can't see us pinning any hopes on him. Here's his blog...

I dont think its worth the risk when we need a STARTER and need to get INTO the Playoffs. For teams like Miami and Houston who are interested its a good risk becasue they have their starter already and are already in the playoffs.

Co-sign. Anything more than the vet min and he's not worth the risk at this point. His production wasn't amazing when he played...and now he's two years removed from a knee injury, with uncertain progress, uncertain future. Just not worth it.

Heard on ESPN this morning that he does not want to go to a team that runs the triangle. So he is not interested in the Lake Show.

If he would be interested to playin for Lakers, we could sign him for LLE and in team option in 2nd year! If he will show that he's worth to keep on roster, Lakers will keep him, but if not, use team option and let him go...
He could be great backup PG for Gary Payton, though...

Well, nobody has given consideration in TJ Ford either, he's entering his final year of his rookie contract. The Bucks could very well have just enough doubt to let him go, and he's still a helluva player.

I think Jay Williams deserves a contract. Maybe not MLE until he prves he deserves it. He may not be the Amazing player that everyone expected but he will still be a very good one. He will give you scoring and assists. Should he be a starter NO but a backup to Francis or Payton YES jam2 jam2 jam2 jam2 jam2 jam2 jam2 GO JAY jam2 jam2 jam2

In that case, we don't need them. the Lakers have never begged for players to come and they won't start now. If a player who screwed up his career with such a stupid accident now wants to set limits on the greatest franchise in North American Sports History, WE DON"T NEED HIM

Another set of two players with the same last name?
The heat had: Caron Butler, Rasual Butler
Eddie Jones, Damon Jones
Now maybe two J Wills
