Not surprising that host Germany got the easiest group....Poland barely made the cup in Europe (probably the WEAKEST of all the EURO teams), Costa Rica finished third in our region, Ecuador finished 4th in S. America.

Before u post that kinda bs, u should start to inform about whats up.
We barely made it to the World Cup?
Keep on dreamin, we even didnt had to go thru the wild card games, and u say that we barely made it, wake up boy.

We will kick Germanys butt, cause it has to happen, we HAVE to win this game, the funny thing about it is, that in the germany squad, their are 2 players that where born in Poland. man10

It would be so cool if we could win against Germany and they wouldnt advance to the next round, damn i would take my Poland flag and run thru the Streets here.

nah i dont thiink poland will beat germany but i think they are gonna advance to the final 16th. germany has home field advantage like us last year (south korea). we beat u guyz (poland), portugal, italy, spain and we got 4th place. damn we should've beat germany!!! we lost 1:0.

I think we can do it, why not, Germany isnt that good, they played a good Confed Cup, but thats it, all the other games from this cup on where bad, we can do it, we played good against England, and IMO England is better then Germany, so ya we got a Chance, Homecourt is good, ya its an advantage, BUT there is a lot of pressure on those guys too, cause here maybe 80% of the people are talkin that Germany will win the Cup, yeah sure, and Michael Moore is the next US President.

Dont forget that Germany got those players that where born in Poland, just imagine what type of pressure they were in, when they play against there Country.

And yap, South Korea beat us on the last WC, i saw this Game on TV Live with a friend and was totaly dissapointed of the peformance from the Poland Squad, but damn, South Korea played a very good Tournament, and they came very far, 4th place for Korea, if anyone would have tell this to me before the WC i would just man10, just like what happend in the last European Cup, Greece won, Underdog.

Anything is possible, its even possible that Ronaldinho, Ronaldo and Robinho will be hurt and wont play in the WC or play hurt and bad, ANYTHING is possible.

The most pressure will be on the Germany and Brazil Squad i would say, CAUSE:

EVERYBODY in Germany thinks that Germany will win the Cup or get atleast to the finals, yeah keep on dreamin.

And on Brazil cause its everybodys favourite.

So for me, its possible that Poland beats Germany, why not?

P.S. to the Homecourt thing, here in Germany live a lot of people from Poland, i aint alone here.

LOL my bad. Forgot that the poles didnt need to go to the playoffs to get in. That's fine and dandy. LOL thanks for taking my mistake to personal.

I hope i can tick you off more with the following: You poles were in an EASY qualifying group:

England
Wales
Austria
Northern Ireland
Azerbijan
Poland

LOL of course you are gonna make it to the Cup. Look at that PATHETIC qualifying group. The only good squad in your group was ENgland and You fools lost twice to them plz.

Stop the homerism, check reality.

There is NO doubt the Poles are the weakest Euro team in the tourney tied with the swiss. You think you can beat Germany? Plz. The last time you poles were any good was in '74 and 82 where you finished 3rd. The only reason you MIGHT make it to the second round is because Costa Rica and Ecuador both stink. I wouldnt be the least bit surprised if you Poles pulled a 2002 and exited after the first round.

Unlike that Polish homer, I HIGHLY doubt our squad, the US can get past the first round. Talk about rotten luck. Fricking Italy and the Czechs in the same group!!!!!

I think we can tie Italy. They play a style that we can defend against i think. Lets hope Luca Toni isn't available for the match.

The Czechs on the other hand, i fear the most in our group. It will be a major miracle if we beat them and a minor miracle to tie them.

We should beat Ghana. And we probably MUST beat them by at least a 2 goal margin and hope Italy has some offense issues and we somehow advance on goal differential with the Czechs winning the group.

The Us can forget about it. Italy and the Czechs arent beatable for the US. No way that will get through the first round.

I just hope that the Netherlands kick Serbia & Montenegro [Swearing is not permitted at Clublakers. You must edit this post prior to submitting.]. bow

Well, we aren't rooting for a win against either of them. Our BEST hope is to TIE italy. They playing a very conservative attacking game and have a very good defense. This plays into our hands. We can sit back and play for a tie.

As to the Czech, their offensive attack is incredibly good. Our ONLY hope is to tie them.

Now if we beat Ghana, which we should, we MUST win by at least 2 goals.

BEST CASE SCENARIO: We finish 1-0-2, Czechs beat Italy, we get to the second round.

SEMI-REALISTIC: We finish 1-1-1. Tie Italy, Lose to Czech by NO MORE THAN 1 goal, beat Ghana by +2 goals.

Czechs beat Italy, and Italy beats Ghana with a +1 goal differential. Since we and Italy finished 1-1-1, and IF i have this right (the first tie breaker is goal differential) we will have a +1 goal differential than Italy.

It CAN BE DONE!!!! GO USA!!!!

REALISTIC: Lose to italy, lose to Czech, beat ghana. Another first round exit in Europe.......

Mexico is always overlooked in the world cup.

They always advance to the second round.
