U-G-L-Y win but I'll take it.
I can't wait to see how we come out Friday. On our home court that is. _________________ "Why can't America realize that falling in love with Kobe doesn't mean breaking up with Michael?" Rick Reilly

Kind of, first game Rockets had a lead, then we came back but not enough. This game, Lakers had a lead then Rockets came back but not enough. But we came back late though...Rockets came back right after half time but we just held it...barely. I'm happy we won, but we better improve and not make these stupid mistakes.
Looking forward to Detroit on Friday. |

How did we almost lose to a team we were up by 18 and lost their best player halfway through?
Why do they always play to their opposition? Day and night. We play amazing first half but we play terrible JUST BECAUSE TMAC WASN'T THERE. Simple as that. |
I had a feeling the Lakers would let up and they did. Not only that though, Bonzi played like a man posessed, the Rockets got pumped to get one for McGrady, you could tell. Also, we couldn't touch Yao without him shooting FT's. _________________ Weezy's Weemens

ummm yea.....did you also notice this game was on the Rockets floor? |

Oh my god that Alston 3 almost gave me a heart attack. All I could think when Yao passed it to him was "No way he's not gonna get off in time". Stupid Lamar was walking onto the court while the ball was still in the air |

1) Coaching wasn't real good.
2) Too many turnovers as a team again.
3) Referees were terrible.
Kobe and Bynum were both clutch down the stretch. _________________

give some credits to MO too
He's done a pretty good job off the bench in only 10 minutes
I'd love to see other cats like Walton contribute like him
Where's Luke 3pt shooting range by the way?
He knocked a lot down last season _________________

Lol yeah, amazing 2nd quarter with an 18 point lead, then we just blow it and barely hang on by a thread. That's the key word this season, we know the Lakers can play amazing, but will they? They NEED to be consistent. |

Awful game after the first half by us, but regardless we still managed to pull out a win. _________________

win is win...I'll take it...it was important to win this game especially with Mac going down.
we gave up 20 offensive rebounds...thats usually always a loss...must address that. Odom was horrible tonight, so were some others like Luke or Radbrick (beside his 2 quick 3s). _________________

Detroit is missing Billups due to twisting his right knee yesterday. That has to play a part. _________________

I am always reluctant to criticize PJ but you are spot on.
AND WHY THE HELL IS KWAME GETTING SO MANY MINUTES?????
OK ... he is stronger than Bynum and can push Yao and keep him out further but ... we are playing 4 on 5 offense when Kwame is in AND Bynum's help defense is MUCH better.
Please Phil for the love of God ... Bynum needs to be playing 30 minutes a games. |

How do these guys get away with such blatant fouls
Battier kept pulling on Kobe's arm coming off the screen and no foul called...what the eff man!!!
and whats up with Kwame in the 4th quarter?
he sets up a screen for kobe 28 feet from the basket and that attracts a crowd of 2 or 3 and he just stand there near the 3 point line with the shot clock coming down
too much dribbling and over shooting by walton
Fish was horrible again
he tried unneccessary lob passes
in the 3rd quarter he let up and the rockets came back and cut the lead cuz he kept going under those screens |

| The important thing is that we closed this out and got the win. We knew the Rockets were gonna make a run, Phil should have coached better to keep this game no closer than 5-6 pts. His poor coaching and lack of subs in the 3rd cost us when we needed offense. He let Radman and Farmar go cold on the bench and it cost us. He doesn't know how to coach this team, that is becoming very apparent to me. |
