The fiery plane crash kinda takes away from the purpose of them getting cancer? _________________ January 13, 2008. Never Forget.

thats right... blame this game on the medical staff |
in a round about way, yes, it matters, actually.. every injury, every delayed recovery (and please, it is weird that other than Kobe due to sheer will, every single player who has gotten injured on our team have setbacks and delays with their recoveries), adds that much more pressure to the players who are playing, tiring them out and then when the injured players do come back, we gotta hope that those players aren't too burned out. |

| Short term memory? Not that it's acceptable, but any1 coming into this game expecting an easy win for us is a fool. Bobcats always give us trouble. Sure they suck balls, but they have our number. |

You must not be watching the game.
Kobe might be the only guy that showed up. |
Which game are you watching? Are you watchign a Tivo'd LAL@GS game?
This is the BOBCATS game. Kobe didn't play well, he tried, but after Matt Caroll drained the dagger three, Kobe quit on the team by getting ejected.
How is that showing up???? |
Maybe you missed the 3rd quarter when kobe was the only one playing and the rest of the guys were throwing up bricks.
Kobe quit on the team? Please. These are your lakers without kobe. They are garbage. Luke, Fish, VladRad, and Ronnie get this loss for their stupid weak play. And Farmar.
Did absolutely nothing. |
I'm not talking about the 3rd quarter.
I'm talking about after Matt Carroll hit the 3 and got the and 1 on Kobe. He walked over to the ref, said something to get tossed, and subsequently got tossed.
How is that NOT quitting on your team? He has NEVER EVER done that before that I can recall. |

What I'm upset with is the players who aren't hurt and aren't tired aren't getting playing time. DJ had a great game tonight. He was a difference maker out there and Phil yanks him and guess what happens? Lakers run comes to an end.
People are going to say that Phil doesn't trust him in close out situations. Well, he should. He's giving 110% out there and is played better than any Laker not named Lamar Odom. He earned the right to be out there. And it's not like Luke or Vlad are doing any better with their boneheaded plays. _________________

Sacramento a couple weeks ago was supposed to be the wakeup call
We have lost 3 recent HOME GAMES to inferior teams, 2 of them were WAY out of the playoffs. _________________

I actually do blame the medical staff more than anyone else. They have been horrible this year. Other teams have injuries, and solve the problem in the more efficient way than Lakers do. Obviously, something is wrong here. Way too many injuries. _________________

First off let's not overreact here. We are playing without Gasol and Bynum. This is basically the same team as last year minus Smush and plus Fish.
Secondly, Kobe is injured/fatigued. It's so obvious. Let's not blame this loss on him, we couldn't guard statues.
Third off, these refs are a joke. _________________ "Let me say one more thing about Kobe. He will be the best player in the history of the game. If he keeps doing what he's doing, there is no stopping him. He is that good." - Shaquille O'Neal in his autobiography, "Shaq Talks Back"

Perhaps. I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist, but I think even without Pau and Bynum, we should be able to beat the BOBCATS. |
