Perhaps. I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist, but I think even without Pau and Bynum, we should be able to beat the BOBCATS. |
1-4 over the last five shows we are not, the one victory was with gasol _________________

You must not be watching the game.
Kobe might be the only guy that showed up. |
Which game are you watching? Are you watchign a Tivo'd LAL@GS game?
This is the BOBCATS game. Kobe didn't play well, he tried, but after Matt Caroll drained the dagger three, Kobe quit on the team by getting ejected.
How is that showing up???? |
Maybe you missed the 3rd quarter when kobe was the only one playing and the rest of the guys were throwing up bricks.
Kobe quit on the team? Please. These are your lakers without kobe. They are garbage. Luke, Fish, VladRad, and Ronnie get this loss for their stupid weak play. And Farmar.
Did absolutely nothing. |
I'm not talking about the 3rd quarter.
I'm talking about after Matt Carroll hit the 3 and got the and 1 on Kobe. He walked over to the ref, said something to get tossed, and subsequently got tossed.
How is that NOT quitting on your team? He has NEVER EVER done that before that I can recall. |
They have been trailing the ENTIRE Game. He's got a busted eye, a bad ankle and a busted finger. If he was going to quit as you suggest he could've just sat out like that softy Pau Gasol.
Kobe quit on his team, that's the dumbest think you could possibly write. If what you said is true, then he should have the surgery tomorrow. That's quitting on your team. |

Third off, these refs are a joke. |
We're playing the Bobcats and lost by double digits. If we need Pau AND Bynum to beat the Bobcats, we're in some SERIOUS trouble come playoff time.
I wouldn't blame the loss on Kobe. He tried, but as you said, he's hurt and limited.
The quitting is what has hurt me the most this game. But whatever, I'll get over it after we win against Memphis (dont' ask me why I'm not that confident abotu that one. They've actually been playing well lately). |

It's official, The Bobcats own our Arses.Matt Carrol is the GOAT of all Laker killers _________________ "After slamming in an alley-oop as the Suns center(Amare Stoudemire) clung helplessly to his arm, Bynum hopped around like he was on a pogo stick, grinning and nodding in a 'Who’s the man-child now?' sort of way" -Chris Broussard of espn.

gosh its just one game we lost. we tend to have problems with charlotte we just have problems with this team im sure people remember it from last year. all of a sudden we dont have a full squad and we lose to charlotte and everyone is saying we're not going far in the playoffs. who are you guys? who rates a team on one game where we dont have pau. disappointed in some of you fans who jump to conclusions too early. it was just a bad game. we're not perfect. damn
do you know whos on the bobcats. jrich, gerald wallace, meka downlow and felton. we DONT have a big man. calm down people. their team ISNT that bad. guaranteed with pau we win but damn the team we have right now isnt a championship team out there. its like the team we had last year where we dont know whos going to show up. i definitely do not expect to lose to memphis because simply they dont have a true bigman. but i knew if we lost to charlotte today i would understand because felton drove on us all day and there was no bigman there to for secondary help and of course lamar is the only one rebounding. |

forget bing healthy. tat won't happen this year. bynum, mihm, and ariza..if they come back...will not do much this year. i'm hoping gasoft can come back strong, but his injury is lingering like a stale fart. _________________ Bleeding purple and gold for life |

Kobe killed us tonight. he defense was horrible and lazy with the exception of that one block. and from my count, he took all but 6 shots in the third quarter. not cuase they were defferring, but he was becoming a blackhole, which is not what he does ever.
he kept leaving guys for threes. kept taking threes. and then he went and got himself ejected.
Way to go kobe, i hope your happy. you ahve won us many games, but tonight you lost us a game.
and yes, i know we are injured as hell and equally tired, but i mean Lamar and mbenga looked like the only guys who cared at all tonight and able to be effective with that. _________________

He made a couple shots, altered a couple on D, got a few rebounds, we didn't look bad at all with him in there.
By the way, I'm glad Newble is getting an ample amount of playing time. _________________ "Let me say one more thing about Kobe. He will be the best player in the history of the game. | I think this is only the 5th loss against below .500 teams this season, but at such a crucial time and down the stretch, it's hard to just sweep it under the rug and dismiss it as one of those nights. You would hope that with only ten games left in the season that we would come out with intensity and focus every game. I'm thinking that our team might've been better served with a heavier road schedule towards the end of the season, our lackadasical play at home is pretty inexcusable. |

I have no idea why Phil yanked DJ. He was our only interior defender, doing a great job.
Kobe needs to control his emotions. He tried to win the game for us, but couldn’t. A couple miss calls on top of that and it just threw him over the edge. _________________

I'm saying for the game. He would NOT have gotten tossed at that point of the game if it was tied.
He was pissed off, and got himself tossed after Carroll hit a dagger three.
There were still almsot 4 mins in the game. |

It's just the arrogance of Phil. It's like he doesn't wanna admit DJ helps the team. He'd rather play his high IQ Luke Walton. |

That's 2/3 of our team really, it severely decreases our depth, and opposing teams can double Bryant.
And he didn't quit, that word isn't even in his vocabulary. _________________ "Let me say one more thing about Kobe. He will be the best player in the history of the game. After tonight's game, i expect the lakers to win every game hereafter
that's the only way to make up for the unacceptable, lackadaisical performance they just completed.
They can't get complacent and play down to the level of the competition, it's stupid and extremely frustrating to watch.
ok, done venting.
