Are you kidding right? The hot Jazz would blow us out without Kobe even in our (calm) home court... |
From the reactions and based on the views of some of the posters, Kobe would be best when he's off of the court come Wednesday, 'cause apparently he lost the game for us today...
But that would be an intriguing scenario though, just to see what the rest of the guys are made of, of course, except for Ronny, Derek, Sasha, and Lamar! Farmar's gotta get out of that slump ASAP, and Vlad's got to start converting those wide-open looks, and Pau's got to box out, even just a little would help us tremendously.
Today's post-game reaction reminded me of JuanoLAL's thread from a day or two ago, how he described that we, the Lakers fans, are spoiled, not only by Kobe's brilliance and persistence, but other great players in the team's history as well. It would be quite a sight to see what the board would be like once we only have good and average players, instead of once-in-a-lifetime phenoms like Kobe...
Regardless of the circumstances come Wednesday: LET'S GO LAKERS!!! _________________ "I've learned that I have the strength to change."

Let's beat the Jazz. I don't care how many points the outcome will be.
I am depressed with the Game 4 loss. _________________ It's the length of one day. One half. One shot clock. This number is my promise to dominate every moment. |

I really don't see how the Lakers loose this one.
Lakers by 10+.
Expect an efficient game from Kobe. |

Heartbreak loss today, but next one will be better.
When is the last time Lakers lost 3 in a row?
- Farmar needs to find his mojo
- Vlad ditto
- Gasol needs to stay tough
- Dunk the ball when in doubt (Walton), don't risk a dunk when you think you have an easy layup.
- Kobe's back needs to be fine
- MAKE YOUR FREE THROWS!!

Tough losses but I predicted the Lakers in six. I'm sticking with that. _________________

It's pitiful that this is what the Utah series is boiling down to. IMO, the refs have had more to do with the outcome of this series than anything else. I don't care if we get "all the calls" this time or not. I just want the last 2-3 games to be correctly officiated. I have no doubt we would finish off the Jazzholes handily if this happens. _________________

I picked them in five. We were right there in both games we lost. Right there! Im rolling with you man. Im seeing a blowout in Game 5 (around a 15pt victory) and then we bring it to a close in Game 6 on their court. Kobe, Fish and Phil will be out for revenge. _________________

In my opinion, whoever wins this game will go on and win the series.
For the Lakers to win
- Need a healthy Kobe Bryant
- Need to cut down on their turnovers
- Need to make free throws |

We had a longer one?
I scanned through the pages and didn't see one, but I could have easily overlooked it. |
So... what's the longest one?

This will be a blowout victory for us. We will be back at home, where the bench will thrive. I'm sure Kobe and the rest of the fellas want to make this a statement game, and impose their will on the jazz.

I'm preeetty confident we'll take this one, but you never know the Jazz are a good, explosive team on the offensive end. They've also gotten a LOT more grittier and physical on defense so we'll find out which Jazz team shows up for this. I know we'll bring it for this game even if Kobe is not playing at 100%.
I'm already looking far ahead and hoping we take Game 6 at ESA, but maybe it's not the right mentality? Lol whatever, I'm not a player. _________________

| i just pray kobe gets better and that his back wont be a bad factor in the game, the jazz need to be silenced, farmar needs shooting practice, vlad needs to practice shooting, and kobe needs to not shot as much then i think we will do good |

just let me lace up my shoes and ill help the lakers to a win. i can come off the bench and give a solid 0/10 shooting...0/5 free throws and probably a 7 turnover performance..NO problem. let me have em at coach!!!

The Jazz are hot garbage on the road, and they don't get away with the same ish on the road as they do at home. Despite all of that, we need to come out early playing hard. As bad as the Jazz are on the road, they could easily steal a game if we lolly gag around. The first quarter of the game will tell alot. The Jazz when they have first quarter leads usually play well for the entire game. If we come out and dominate them from Jump, have a double digit first quarter lead, this game is in the bag for US.
Utah done been blown out on the road too many times this year. This is a game we should win by 10-15 points. If we let Utah dominate us from the start like the games in Utah, then we can say goodnight to the Lakers for the season, cause i highly doubt we'll win a game 6 in Utah trailing 3-2. Were the better team than they are and we need to play like it. Beat em tomorrow and close this [Swearing is not permitted at Clublakers.
