Welcome CL Vets.

The purpose of this forum is to give you guys a place to talk about whatever you like.

I must admit, I was reluctant at first to open this forum because I thought it would totally take you guys away from Lakers Discussion.

After some discussion among the staff, I've come to the conclusion that this forum ideally should help keep you guys here.

While this forum should appeal to all, I encourage you all to continue to visit Lakers Discussion and give us feedback on how to improve it.

At the same time, the staff will continue to be committed to keeping Lakers discussion free of clutter and free of personal attacks.

While this forum definitely will allow you to give feedback on the site (and we will gladly absorb all of that), the staff will make decisions independently.

Simple stuff eh? Have fun down here.

As you all can remember, I had ( and still have ) my doubts about the effectiveness ( in terms of getting us all to post more in LD ) of the RR.

Never doubt that for those invited it would be cool. With that said, I will be the first ( am I really ) to promise that I will make a conscious effort to post more in LD/NBAD forums more.

I suggest you guys do the same...

Thanks for the invite. I'm already enjoying the RR because it has brought Big Sleepy back and GuRu has been posting more frequently of late. Love to see all that. Now maybe we can get some of the other old posters to come out of their lurkings.

When I awoke this morning, that scary plastic-masked Burger King guy was sitting on the edge of my bed wearing a Lakers jersey. He handed me a Royal Breakfast Whopper and a Royal Invite to this forum. Great to see all my friends in here, but that king dude really creeped me out.

Anyway, you guys look terrific and haven't changd a bit.
