What about Vanessa???

Everyone seems to talk about Kobe and this girl that he allegedly raped.... I have heard some discussion about Vanessa, but not much. This has to be killing her to know that her husband cheated on her only 6 months after giving birth to their first child, especially since this entire thing is public knowledge. What do you think she's going to do and how do you think she's handling all of this?

I feel sorry for Vanessa, not only is it hard to take that your spouse has cheated on you, but I can't imagine having it play out in the media. Hopefully she has the support of her family and some close friends and hopefully the will get some sort of counseling so they can make it through all of this.

No, I don't buy that. Regardless of whom you marry, you never expect them to cheat on you, especially when they've never shown any signs of cheating to begin with. No one should have to deal with this or "know the drill" simply because their husband is an NBA star.

I heard that she didn't sign a pre nup.... I remember reading an article in the LA times where Kobe's family didn't like the idea of Kobe marring outside his race, and I think the article and links are still here in the forum...

I'm sure Vanessa has the support of her friends and family. I would also bet the Kobe's dad is seeing her in a whole new light, as she seems to be standing by Kobe side through all this.
The one thing that I find interesting is that in 2000, 2001, and at the start of this year, some of you who are asking Kobe could do this to Vanessa, were saying the same thing about Vanessa that you have said about this bimbo. For example that she is a golddigger.
Don't get me wrong I think Kobe is innocent and the sex was consensual but it seems almost surreal that you guys now feel bad for Vanessa. I have been in Vanessa's shoes, I hope she is giving him heck for this.

One more note, I think that the true "victums" of this incident are Vanessa and Natalia. Vanessa now, Natalia when she gets older, because some "caring" idiot will tell her what her daddy did when she was six months old. That will truly be a bad day for Kobe. What is happening now will not compare to that pain.

Yes... I had a very heated discussion with my girlfriend and we put ourselves in Kobe & Vanessa's shoes. My girlfriend said she doesn't know why Vanessa would stick with him.

I don't know, I think she is VERY STRONG... She's truely amazing and I hope Kobe can only keep making this up to her for the rest of his life.

Vannessa didn't sign a pre-nup. That much I know from people that use to know her.

If she decides to leave kobe.......kobe's screwd, but he should of thought of that before he decided to mount that ho.

I did not leave my husband, but I can tell you from experience that I will never trust him, again. I think Vanessa truly loves Kobe and she want's Natalia to grow up with a mom and a dad.

Yea, Vanessa has always been accused of being a gold digger, simply because of where she came from and the fact that she was engaged to Kobe before she was out of high school. Well, I don't think people can say she's in this for the money anymore since she is sticking by Kobe through this crap. I really respect her for being able to stand by his side mere weeks after her husband cheated on her, holding his hand in public. I think many people may change their opinions of her if she keeps on standing by his side.

As a Kobe fan, I was quite sad to hear about this case. However, as a person, it shows that Kobe is only human no matter how well he plays basketball. I am glad that Vannessa is staying on his side, and I sincerely hope Kobe learns from his lesson. Perhaps then, he will be a step closer to greatness.
