That performance he did was like Jordan vs. Utah in the NBA Finals. Bad leg and all, he made two eagles and ended the day -3 and the lead for the U.S. Open.
I'm not into golf, but that was some performance. Now, if the Lakers could do that today, it'll be a good father's day. |

Saw parts of it. Watching the final round today. Tiger started off with a double boguy, boguy. He's rebounded a bit but is still +2 for the day. _________________

Co-sign. I only tuned in for the final most important, crucial, & exciting moments of the event. The leader dude's (Rocco) reaction when Tiger hit the shot was priceless. He just watched nervously & as he saw it go in & said, "unbelieveable" & the rest said it all in his face. Then he claimed afterwards to have "known" he was gonna' make it cuz he's just too good, he's tiger woods, & then added a little somewhat combined sarcasm & seriousness when asked about tomorrow saying, "i'm toast."
... but that's the beauty of sports, as much as the odds are against you, anything can still happen, we'll see... |

I've been watching every day of this tournament. I'm watching the playoff right now, I'm surprised there isn't a US Open thread. This tournament has been great, I think Tiger might be my favorite athlete in any sport, he's just so fun to watch. He's playing on a bad knee and doing incredible things. _________________ Weezy's Weemens

These announcers are pulling hard for Rocco. Damn I've never seen such biased commentary.
Oh well. It was an awesome match. Both played great but Tiger is amazing.
He is a killer. |

Yeah, but to be fair he's a great story and if he won I wouldn't have been upset, he seems like a great guy. He would have been the oldest dude ever to win his 1st major. But, being a Tiger fan wow, they said there was no way he could win this thing on a bum knee, just an incredible accomplishment, he truly is the greatest. _________________ Weezy's Weemens

Yeah he seems like a great guy. Tiger had nothing but kind words about him before the match today. But it just seemed weird that the announcers weren't trying to hide the fact that they wanted Rocco to win.
Tiger was clutch down the stretch and that proved to be the difference. He has to be the most intense competitor throughout all of sports.
Amazing performances by both of them. |

I've played my fair share of golf. To be able to hit your shots with the force that Tiger did on a bum left knew.......is well awe inspiring.
The torque and pressure you place on your left knee when hitting a shot is incredible. I can't even imagine the pain from it. Wow just wow.
If it was his right knee......no way in hell he would have played the tourney. _________________
