At last we have come to another season of Laker basketball and this means another season of the ClubLakers Good Call.

To get your engines running, we will have a CL.com Good Call Pre-Season tournament. These games will be played the same way as Good Call has always been, except that the scores will be calculated into the overall pre-season final standings and will not be counted toward your regular season score. This is a separate contest from the regular season.

The reason I have isolated the pre-season into a different contest is because both teams aren't playing 100% during the pre-season and thus, the games are hard to predict and what would usually be a good estimation could be way off because of this.

Plus, playing the pre-season edition is a great way to try Good Call out and get a feel for what it's like.

Don't be discouraged if you have some bad scores-- anything can happen in these games.

Each week, the winner of the Good Call of the Week will be announced on the main page. You'll get your props when you call it right.

I'd like to thank all of you who played last season and made this game a success as well as invite the rest of you to play.

Good luck in making the Good Call!

P.S. To all newcomers, you are welcome to play, but I suggest you read over the rules. It's not as complicated as it may seem. :man12:

Purple and gold, you messed up a bit here:

1. You have to put the Lakers' FG%

2. You can only pick one leading scorer. You can add your own extra predictions to the game, but you can only pick one leading scorer.

No, you don't have to put how much the leading scorer will score, although you're more than welcome to. It won't hurt your score if you do.

No, you're only scored on the stats on which the Good Call game is based upon.

Extra stats are fun to add because while it has nothing to do with the game, it's another thing that you can say "Hey I called it!" about. :man1:
