Kidd & JO or Maggette & JO, or all 3?Yes this is possible. The Lakers could actually land all three stars. How? I’ll tell you in a moment. First let’s see how we can get a duo of Kidd and Jermaine O’ Neal (no Maggette). Four-Way-Trade: Lakers, Pacers, Nets, and Timberwolves. Lakers Recieve: Jermaine O’ Neal, Jason Kidd, Trenton Hassell, and Craig Smith. Pacers Recieve: Lamar Odom, Richard Jefferson, and Vladamire Radmonovic. Nets Recieve: Jordan Farmar, Andrew Bynum, Coby Karl (the Lakers can do this trade when CK’s Trade Restriction is over), Kwame Brown, Marquise Daniels, Jamaal Tinsley, and Darell Armstrong. Timberwolves Recieve: Brian Cook, Sasha Vujacic, and Mile Ilic. This is trade #1. If you don’t believe that a duo of Kidd and JO will do us good, then check out the 2nd trade which gets us a duo of JO and Corey Maggette (no Kidd). Four-Way-Trade: Lakers, Pacers, Clippers, and Timberwolves. Lakers Recieve: Jermaine O’ Neal, Corey Maggette, and Mark Blount. Pacers Recieve: Lamar Odom, Andrew Bynum, Shaun Livingston, Paul Davis, Juwan Howard, Craig Smith, and Mark Madsen. Clippers Recieve: Ricky Davis, Brian Cook, Sasha Vujacic, Kwame Brown, Ike Diogu, and Darrell Armstrong. Timberwolves Recieve: Chris Kaman, Vladamire Radmonovic, Shawne Williams, Tim Thomas, and Jeff Foster. This is trade #2. So which one do you prefer, trade #1, or trade #2? If you choose Trade #1 which gets us JO, Kidd, Hassell, and Smith then you can possibly have Maggette as well. How? Well, now is the moment of truth. Everyone knows that Corey has a chance to opt out in this up-coming season, and it looks like he just might. He’s not happy with th Clipper organization and now that Brand and Livingston are out, he doesn’t like his playoff chances either. If he opts out, and the Lakers do trade #1 or somewhat like that trade, we could sign Corey Maggette cheap since he knows the Lakers would be devastating with Kobe Bryant, Jermaine O’ Neal, Jason Kidd, himself and the rest of the gang. This is quit possible and the Salaries work out perfectly. Go do both trades on the espn trade machine if you don’t believe me. So Lakers fans, what do you think of this idea?
