Kobe as MVPI have been a Laker fan my whole life, well at least 14/16 of my life but in all of those years I have never seen a more amazing player other than Kobe Bryant. His arrival in 1997 sparked a new interest in Laker fans, a spark that has been seen constantly throughout the years. As his years zoomed on by nothing out of the extraordinary happened. Till the famous 81 point game. I remember me being speechless when it happened but it happened. Now to this day the Lakers are sitting atop the Western Conference standings and the favorite to win it all. The Lakers are a scary team if fully healthy, I mean look…..Andrew Bynum; C; 7′ Pau Gasol; PF; 7′ Lamar Odom; SF; 6′10″ Kobe Bryant; SG; 6′6″ Derek Fisher; PG; 6′3″. This team has all the potential in the world. Kobe has pulled his team to the top and continues to drive them, leading them, helping them. But don’t take this as a statement of him being a ballhog, no way! In times of bad shooting, other teammates take control and insure a victory. This proves the maturity of the Lakers team. And as they set to play the second game of the first round, think to yourself…what a great team they are, but more so, what an amazing leader they have within. So next time a laker hater disses on kobe just remind him of what he has done that helped and he/she will leave speechless. Kobe for MVP, “all who love and all who hate, think of him as a leader and it will change your mind.” Sound off in the Los Angeles Lakers Forums!
