Which is better (less talent)

A) Gilbert Arenas, Finley, Artest, Elton Brand, Jermaine Oneal all at prime

B) Marbury, Penny Hardaway, Grant Hill, Ben Wallace, Mutombo
all at prime

C) Andre Miller, Mitch Richmond, Glen Rice, Dirk, and Rik Smits all at prime.
D) Damon Stoudimire, Eddie Jones, Sprewell, Rasheed Wallace, Alonzo Mourning all at prime.

THIS IS EASILY between A and B.....

I woudl first say marbury, penny, and grant hill, wallace, and mutumobo in their primes......cause the first 3 in the prime were INSANE....and the 2 big men coudl rebound and od the dirty work......BUTTTTT..... eventaully, a lack of a serious inside presence hurts them....... SOOO

IT IS B. arenas, finley, artest, brand, and oneal. Brand and Oneal give u consistency with 2 bigmen inside presence. arenas can ball, he provides the O with finley.....with finley being a defenive presence, and artest is theri defensie stopper....


BUT HOW BOUT THIS, all the guys mentioned.........or KOBE........KOBE 100%. KOBE CAN TAKE ANY TEAM BYHIMSELF IN HIS SLEEP. and eat [Swearing is not permitted at Clublakers. I would say TEAM B would win. First off you have BIG guards with Marbury and Penny. Then you add HILL (point forward)who is an all around triple double threat. These three gents are all you need in terms of points. All three are excellent ball handlers. They can take you off the dribble with their killer first step or cross over. Penny and Hill have post up skills that rivalled even the big men at their prime. Penny was quick at the post. His spin move and dunk or spin move and dish was almost unstoppable. Hill gets you from the base line/spin on you then dunk or reverse lay it up and in. Then there are the 2 best defensive players out of this bunch. WALLACE and MOTUMBO.. both are rebounding specialist and led the league in rebounds once in their carreers. Then you can add MOTUMBO's shot blocking expertise and don't forget about his FINGER WAGGING. This team will beat out the rest out of this bunch. The TWO BIG guys inside are too tough: not to mention that they have 3 guys that can flat out run.

Andre Miller lost points and game this year with the Clippers, but he was phenomenal last season w. the Cavs..he can score, easily penetrate and drop dimes, overall great point guard(at least last season, dare to say his prime has already passed him?)

Talking about insane...Mitch Richmond and Glen Rice were exactly that during their primes, these two are just deadly from anywhere on the court, remember they did average 26-28ppg at their peaks

Dirk Nowitzki is playin like a superstar, I don't think he's at his peak right now..only gona get better, there would be no forward you listed on the other teams that could stop him, and Rik Smiths at his prime was remarkable

NO NO NO PEOPLE....trust me, u need an inside presence and consistency on both ends FROM YOUR 2 MAJOR BIG MEN.......o'neal and brand give that to you.....

and besides almost all of these players have offensive talent, and group A are teh only ones that have inside presnce, true inside presence

KOBE'S EMPIRE, you forgot to tell that to BILL RUSSEL who's won more CHAMPIONSHIPS than FINGERS that he needed to SCORE in order to win. You don't need all five starters to be SCORERS. You need some quality role players and WALLACE n MOUNT MOTUMBO are also best DEFENSIVE PLAYERS of the YEAR. You know whats going to happen if someone went to the paint?.... REJECTION!!! and some FINGER WAGGING by MOTUMBO!!!



KOBE OUR REAL MVP

1. MARBURY is bigger and a stronger finisher than Arenas/Miller/Stoudimire
2. PENNY is quicker/faster/better post up player than FINELY. Penny will use his quickness to over come Richmonds strength. Forget about Jones.. he chokes in PLAYOFF GAMES... good during the regular season but just doesn't step up in crucial games.
3. GRANT HILL mister triple double. Consumate team player. His career is over because in DETRIOT he played on a severly sprained ankle and ended up breaking it.... THATS HOW BAD HE WANTED TO WIN. In his prime he was heir to Jordan. You can't say that about RICE/SPREE/ARTEST. HILL would post them up or cross them over and or play great defense.
4. BEN WALLACE DEFENSIVE player of the year and REBOUNDER of the YEAR!!! ENOUGH SAID
5. MOUNT MOTUMBO DEFENSIVE player of the year and REBOUNDER of the YEAR 3 TIMES!!! anyone of those cats who tries to bring it in........REJECTION!!! and some FINGER WAGGING!!!
