What the hell do you expect him to do in three minutes?

In three minutes Jordan Hill can get 2/2 probably and probably some other intangible things. Jamison got a rebound and did absolutely nothing else.

He's a shooter, though, and we've seen inconsistent minutes screw with a shooter's mentality.

That doesn't affect rebounding and effort though. The point is that the reason Hill is getting minutes Is that he is more effective.

So you are saying you're fine with him not playing?

If he's going to have that kind of impact, then hell yes. He needs to earn those minutes and when he finally gets a chance to play, I expected more energy out of him.

Ebanks gets slammed for that kind of effort, but we want more of Jamison?

Except Ebanks isn't the type of offensive x factor that can explode for 33 points in a game. I agree with your premise, though. This team doesn't need another player like him, it needs more youth/hustle in the vein that Hill provides.

Did anyone think Jamison was nervous out there?

He finally gets to run & I think he was so worried about what MDA would think. He was over thinking and not playing "naturally" or with a "flow".

It's on him just as much, but how can you blame him? His credentials with this system, and 6 DNP-CD's? I'd be over thinking it too.

I think if he gets PT tonight he'll return back to normal.

Just play the guy. Pau is all busted up and didn't get the job done last game. More minutes for our backup 4s, please.

Watch Tawn get another DNP tomorrow :man10:

In all seriousness, he'll definitely be getting a lot of minutes now.

'Antoni and Jamison have both talked about waiting for his opportunity, well here it is. We will need him big time now, scoring, rebounding, he will need to play a huge role if we aren't going to fall off for good.

With Dwight, Pau and Hill out... Jamison will...

Wait... do you think he had something to do with all this? It's a conspiracy! Jamison/Sacre FTW!

Watch Clark get more minutes than Jamison. I was shocked to see him shoot Pau's FTs last night in lieu of Jamison.

George Karl got to be pick whoever he wanted on the Lakers to shoot the free throws since Pau couldn't. That wasn't a MDA decision.

Oh damn. I totally forgot about that rule. I was watching the game with 4 crazy kids running around so I didn't hear.

In Tuesday's loss, Lakers coach Mike D’Antoni openly bickered with Antawn Jamison on the sideline as the once-benched player said it was, "Nothing to really talk about. … It's one of those things that happened.

Anyone see this? Not a good sign..and Jamison doesn't strike me as the type to get into it with coach... :man3:

Didn't you hear? Kobe and Dwight were about to exchange blows the other day, our team is going to implode soon :man8:
Before long, someone recognized Phil Jackson sitting in the front seat, and then the rocks began to fly. Revelers pelted the bus and shook it, mocking the Lakers at their lowest moment.

It was painful,” Lakers forward Pau Gasol(notes) said. “It is a feeling that I want to keep in my mind for every single minute that I’m out there playing them.

I think the coach has lost Jamison because there's no way he is THIS bad. It he is at least he's a minimum signing and will bolt this offseason. It was a one year deal right?

Yup.

The thing I don't get is, Jamison is exactly what D'Antoni wants. Someone who shoots a lot and doesn't play defense. What's the problem?

I didnt think Jamison had a horrible game.

Not sure what this feud between him and D'Antoni is about. I thought MDA didnt like his D, but he doesnt look any worse than anyone else out there...
