If he hasn't signed yet it's for other reasons... He may have agreed but is waiting to hammer out details after after other potential roster moves are completed (Howard or Pau trades for example)....

Lakers Sign Antawn Jamison



Veteran forward Antawn Jamison will sign a one-year deal for the veteran's minimum with the Los Angeles Lakers, according to a league source.

Jamison, 36, averaged 17.2 points and 6.3 rebounds last year for Cleveland in his 14th season in the league, but he shot a career-low 40.3 percent from the field.

He was acquired by the Cavaliers via trade in 2009-10, the last season Lakers coach Mike Brown was at the helm for the Cavs.

The Lakers were in competition with several other teams for Jamison's services, including Brooklyn, Golden State and Charlotte.

I think at this point the Lakers should fill out the rest of the roster with defensive-minded players and a couple guys that can also knock down the three for the wing spots.

There are a number of ways to sign a contract remotely.... not sure if there is an iPad app however... I'll look right now.....

Any computer equipped with a finger print scanner can be used to certify an electronic contract for a specified number of days until the "hard copy" can be certified and signed......... I've used this method recently on a contract between my company and a Chilean based Hospital group......
