yes, young teams don't win.

Old teams do neither.

Teams in their prime win. Look at Spurs, Celtics, Lakers, Heat for the past decade.

The 2006 Heat were pretty old. Boston and San Antonio were old. Lakers weren't exactly young either. Experienced teams win titles. Guys like Nash and Kobe are old, but still great players.

Deems like we are entering the denial phase with this team. Like Boston and Spurs...keep trying with a pretty old core that isn't capable of winning it all anymore. I thought our front office might be smarter than that.

To do as you wanted, where's the available young studs we can use to rebuild for the future?

Tried with Paul got screwed over. D- Will is no longer an option. We are still trying to get D12. I don't get what you are complaining about. Most of the salaries come off the books in 2 years anyways. Why the hell not try to go all in now and next year and rebuild after that....hopefully with D12. If not then Drew.

Our FO is absolutely 100000000% right in what they have been doing. With the exception of that idiot Potato Head hiring.

If you look at our bench we're super young, got some shooters (Glock, DJO) and some athletes who can run the floor (DJO, Ebanks, McBob) and hustle guys (Hill). I think we have a good balance. We just need a vet in the bench who can play with the starters and the bench and be the perfect buffer

yes but young alone isn't enough. You need young players with talent.

Who from our bench is a stud? who is a sure starter in this league? the simple answer is NONE.

Please realize that we have been assassinated in the post season twice in a row in the second round.

There is a difference between old and too old. Do I have to explain every word?

The same way there is a difference between young and too young.

There is also a difference between good and great.

BTW exception proves the rule. Dallas was old last year and won. But Dallas just was on fire in the playoffs, especially from outside. At no point during the last 15 years have we been able to shoot the ball the way they did in the past season last year against us.

we're not getting any body good in their prime cheap, just doesn't work that way. Prime example, Batum is getting $9mill/yr from Minn, dude is no where near the offensive player that Jamison is.

Jamison is a good off the bench player when we decide to go small with Pau at the 5. He's a good finisher around the basket when Nash hits him on his cuts.

His ability to space the floor with his 3 pt shooting along with Pau will tremendously help the offense out.

Nash
Kobe
Hill
Jamison
Pau

would be a good offensive lineup

'Toine torn between his kids (Charlotte) and chasing a ring (LA, Miami, Boston):

“We broke the ice,’’ Jamison said of his two-hour meeting over dinner Thursday night. “To say there’s interest on both sides is definite.

“Now it’s up to me. Do I want to come home to be with my kids? Or should I pursue the best opportunity to win a ring?’’

Jamison sees a championship as the only remaining hole in his pro career. He was twice an All-Star while playing for the Washington Wizards and his time in the NBA has been long and lucrative. Jamison said Friday he hasn’t had specific discussions with contenders. The Golden State Warriors, now run by his former agent, Bob Myers, has reached out, suggesting a role similar to the Bobcats’ proposal.

Jamison said the advantage of signing with the Bobcats is more reliable than the prospect of signing with a contender.

“The only thing left I haven’t accomplished is to be part of a championship team,’’ Jamison said. “But the realization is signing with Miami or L.A. or Boston doesn’t mean it’s a shoo-in (a title run) would happen.

“Spending two or three seasons (on an elite team) increases the chances, but it’s not guaranteed.’’

^I think he's looking for more money from a contending team. He doesn't want mini-MLE money.

The only way we can do that is through a S&T with either Hill, Sessions, or Barnes. I don't think Cleveland is interested in any of them.

A ring and Miami is closer to home than any of the other contenders.

For what? A ring. He didn't say he wants to play a bunch. He said he wants a ring. Charlotte is closer to Miami than to the other contenders, so he'd be closest to his kids. He and Bosh have enough size to play together, especially with James. And they can offer every penny we can. I won't bet my life on it, but it seems like the most likely bet to me.

Guys Miami is probably gonna sign Ray Allen. That means Jamison would have to accept the vets minimum. Don't see that happening,

Antwan Jamison sounds like he's leaning toward Bobcats in interview with @rick_bonnell. Link from @HoopsRumors here: http://dlvr.it/1q1q2f

Mia is offering Allen the mini MLE so Jamison would have to settle for vet min.

Why?

He made no ifs and or buts about it years ago that he wasn't happy how Cuban looked him in the face told him they would give that team another year, and then threw him and Walker out the door after one failed season.

Cuban burned that bridge like he did with Nash and Kidd.

Well Jamison never complained as a Wizard as he was said to like being a mentor to the young guys, same with Cleeveland last year. He likes being the old man and voice, takes pride in teaching. He likely wants to win but teaching can be a reward to some people, and he might be one of them as he is always a good citizen, hard worker, and team captain
