Best Ticket Source? (3/17/12 vs. Kings)

Just curious if all of you with more experience than me have any great ticket sources other than the obvious ticketmaster, stubhub, ticket exchange, etc...?

I'm from Utah and will be taking my kids to disneyland over spring break and will be catching the Lakers vs Kings game. 3-17-12

Looking for tickets at about $200-300 each.

Am I best off buying now, or waiting til closer to the date and hitting LA craigslist?

Anyone who can chime in here with more experience than me?

Sorry man, I've always gone through stubhub. I have zero experience with craigslist.

Try BarrysTickets or VipTickets. Thats where I get my tickets, I go to about 6-8 games a year

Barry's Tickets is great. Good options in advance but if you want a great deal and don't mind the uncertainty of waiting, leftover tickets start getting drastically reduced in the hours before the game so you can get seats up close for a good price.

There are always good deals on Craigslist from last minute people who can't go for one reason or another. Usually on the day of the game, even leading up to a few hours to tip off. But if you are flying from Utah, i woudn't want to risk missing the game using this strategy. But even if you buy ahead of time, Craigslist usually has the best deals.

Tickets are always cheapest on the day of. Of course you risk not getting any in the location you may want.

But places like stubhub have an option they recommend of gradually lowering ticket prices as the event gets closer. Some people don't care and will just goto the game if they cant sell, but more often than not, people want to get rid of their tickets.

If you're from out of town I wouldn't risk playing with Craigslist. What if the guy doesnt come through last minute? WHat if there are logistic difficulties?

Ive used craigslist but I use the same 3-4 season ticket holders that Ive been buying tickets from since 2008 (who I actually got to know through friends)

Id just go the safe route where you dont have to feel pressured in last minute and just buy from Barrys Tickets or Vip Tickets. Check them especially late at night (like midnight or later) Ive noticed prices drop just a tad bit at that time.
