Brown on the PG rotation, Morris & Blake to see time at SG

Shouldn't he be searching for what his other 6 will be, not 5? You suit up 13 active players this year, they made the damn rule change last year to help teams with injuries and so every player could be active if all healthy since 13 is the min u can carry on a team.

They need to just eat the contracts of all three of our backup PG's. If you can trade them, obviously do it, but if not just waive them and bite the bullet. Bring in Barbosa, keep Glock/DJO to run some PG because at least they will put points on the board if they play 15 minutes.

Morris can't facilitate whatsoever, Duhon is content with collecting checks and Blake is so inconsistent with his play and consistent with either getting hurt or having long stretches of doing nothing, there is no reason to keep them around. None of them can score or facilitate and our 2nd unit as a whole suffers from it.

I've seen better PG play so far from DJO/Glock and that isn't really a compliment to how good they have been playing either.

I'm still calm regarding potatoe head.

I want to see what happens once the games actually count.

As of right now my rotation would be

Nash / Blake
Kobe / CDR
Artest / Ebanks
Gasol / Jamison
Howard / Hill

Meeks would be my 5th guard, Sacre my 5th bigman...thats 12 guys. I would also keep Duhon as a third PG because of his guaranteed money and also keep Clark as my 5th forward. I would cut DJO, Glock, Morris and so forth...

Right now CDR has played better than Meeks and he is the best scoring option off the bench after Jamison. He is actually an NBA player who has played in the league and done so while playing well for stretches.

If Mitch lets CDR or Sacre go..then I'll be furious.

When I read stuff like this, I find myself willing to endure a bad start to the season in order to have Brown fired.
There are two teams that play in the Staples Center:
the LA Lakers and NBA Clippers.

Idiot. And idiot whoever hired him.

The Lakers need to act quickly...right now, before the season is actually sabotaged and dump Potato now.

I'm not saying bring Phil back even...I'd even take Eddie Jordan over Milk Dud.

I'll be insufferable when we get to the end of the season and Jodie Meeks or Chris Douglas Roberts has been our clear cut back up shooting guard, Antawn Jamison logs a total of 36 minutes in the 3 slot and Darius Morris & Steve Blake play together for only 23 minutes.

Right, but maybe the reason for that will be Mike Brown is no longer the coach .... :man12:

Am I the only one who thinks Morris is absolutely useless?

He can't shoot, he has poor touch around the basket, and he can't set up his teammates.

get rid of 2 out of the 3 (blake duhon morris) and bring in barbosa as the backup pg. hed give us a solid 8-10ppg behind nash.

the thing is is that our bench cant run the offense mike brown wants...all it is is passing around the permeter until theres 5 seconds left on the shot clock and a forced off balance terrible shot happens. for our bench we need hustle guys, a 3 point shooter or 2, and a guy who can CREATE FOR HIMSELF. no one on our bench can get in the lane and at the worst get fouled...all theyve done so far is pass pass pass for 20 seconds. its terrible.

barbosa would be a huge upgrade for our backup pg who has a bigger body too. hes a career 46% FG and 39% 3PT 82% FT. so i think hed help us a lot.

do it mitch! bc im sure hes trying to do something after watching our bench during the preseason so far. not one of our backup PG's is good enough.

Barbosa
Meeks/CDR
Ebanks
Jamison
Hill

would be solid. a guy who can attack and score. a 3 point shooter. a rebound hustle guy. a guy who can shoot mid range and defend. and a proven veteran scorer.

The problem is Brown wants to play a starting 5 and then another 5some off the bench, that will not work. Guys like Goudelock, Meeks are catch and shoot type guys, even Ebanks is someone who gets baskets from cutting or fastbreak, their skillset is perfect to play alongside a couple of the starters. We cannot put a unit in without at least one of the big 4 on the floor. And Pau needs to get aggressive and stop giving up the post area to Sacre or Hill or whatever
