Buy-out Duhan then sign with Barbosa and T-Mac ?

How about buy-out Duhon and then sign with Barbosa and T-Mac ?

I think if it were that easy to sign Barbosa we would have done it already. T-Mac, no thanks.

Well...at least there are some interesting foreign language words I've learned about here.

I look at Duhon this way...... while most here think he's a scrub..... I look at his career and see that he has been just about as good as anyone we've had STARTING over the same time frame...... He's just fine as number 3 on the depth chart IMO.... A change of scenery might rejuvenate him.... and having 3 players ahead of Morris is a good thing....

I definitely remember that....and really its only because when he played for the Bulls...he would KILL US, and his 3 pt shot was MONEY at the time. Ugh, who the heck paid him that much anyways? Did the Magic trade for him or was he actually signed to this contract by the Magic?

Like Weezy said, Barbosa wants money. We've already used part of the mini-MLE already. Our options for acquiring him are thin.

^^opportunities are even thinner..... we have Blake and Meeks at the back up guards.... where would Barbosa play..... and would he want to 8 to 10 minutes a game even if it was a championship team?..... It would seem that he could find a primary back-up role somewhere that would both pay and play him a lot more than here...

Not in this market. In this market he's basically worth 1.35 million which is the veteran's minimum. Smaller guys that can shoot and don't defend are out there and available. On this team I don't even know that he'd get 8-10 minutes a game even...

The weird thing is he's thrown out the names the Suns, the Nets, and the Lakers. All of those teams seem pretty much set, so if he goes to any of them his playing time will be limited. I suppose it would then come down to who wins more games? It's definitely a tough situation for Barbosa. He's still 29 or 30 and can still play.

I wonder why he hasn't gotten a little more attention than he has. Same with Kenyon Martin and Louis Amundsen.

T-Mac? Did they not go extinct with the T-Rex', and the rest of the dinosaurs?
