Andrew Bynum will not play tonight due to a bone bruise on his left knee (revealed in MRI). He's listed as day-to-day.

If he has to take these next 2 games off Im fine with that. We need him for the roadtrip. 14 out of the next 17 after the Thursday game are on the road

actually, even the face is similar...Bynum could look exactly like that in 20 years.

Phil Jackson said it happened at some point of the Boston game; Bynum is sore, but there is no structural damage.

Bone Bruises are nothing to sneeze at btw....healing time for bone bruises can be a while.

I'd say he's out at least 2-3 weeks and we'll probably see him in March.

^ That's good news. And as I said before, I'd rather have to play Smith and lose by 100 for a few games than lose Bynum for a lengthy period of time.

you would but Jackson will probably play Pau into the ground again and given his recent stretch games thats not good....I know he's been bad lately but people dont him any credit for being quite durable as oppose to our supposed "future franchise player."

When does management think about trading this guy before his trade value makes him virtually worthless because of being injured all the time?

Im not saying trade him in any way at all, Im just curious as to what you guys think as to how long the front office will hold onto him if hes injured all the time.

Good. Now Pau can get his head out of his ... and start playing like a man.

At least there is not structural damage. Let him rest, he'll get into the swing of things in March, April, and peak during the playoffs.

When are we gonna realize this guy is not gonna make it to the age of 30 to play basketball. He will be done in 3-4 years. We gotta get what we can for him now while he still has some trade value

So, we have trade Artest, Pau and Blake threads but no Trade Bynum yet :man12:? He's the one gay that soon might be untreadable... even more than Luke. Still hope his ok but im afraid we'll be in deep $hit sooner than later plus it's pissing me off that everybody is working their butts off while Drew is always getting back in shape, working on his timing and stuff like that.
