man, you got a point there! :man2: i guess phil jackson is right when he said slava gets motivated when he gets playing time, and he hasn't really been getting that.

Well Slava must not be payin attention on defence in practice huh? Man, it's sad that he doesn't get any real playin time, cuz he really lit it up in the 2nd round... He was a great production on the offensive end... He could really improve on his D, hell it took Devean 3 years to shine.. :man1:

Yeah i know, when he was in, making those shots, i was like... why isn't he in more. he was making a lot of outside jumpers. he's big and tall. i guess he doesn't play cause his D then?

I'm sure he'll get much more time this year with Horry gone.

psyched

Postby topcat61 on Thu Jul 24, 2003 8:46 am

I am definitely stoked for the season to start! Ive already told my better half she had better be ready for heavy doses of Lakers on the tube next year-she rolled her eyes and said what else is new. I have a sat dish and I think most NBA ganes are offered on pay-per-view. I didnt try it last year cuz the Lakers stunk it up too often. I hope to catch them when they come to Dallas this year (i live in Tx) but those games usually sell out in seconds. Listening to the Dallas sports media is great now-they are all over the Mavs for not getting anyone (so far). And even if I wasnt a lakers fan, I would be interested inthis season. All the changes are amazing! And with the Kings getting Miller and the Spurs getting Hedoo
and Mercer-nobody is rolling over for us. Even the Wolves are loading up.
Laker fan since JW hit his famous 55 ft jumper against the Knicks, 1970. First game I ever watched. Loved the Lakers with the cool uniforms.

I CANNOT FREAKING WAIT FOR THE START OF THE SEASON!!!!

This is crazy... I live deep in the heart of football country. Football is #1 in Texas, always has been, always will be. But this year, damn, I gotta admit, I cannot wait for the start of the NBA season! Usually when football is winding down is when I get more interested and pay more attention to the NBA, but not this year! I want us to come out of the gate and send a message to the league. A 15-0 start or something would be great!

Here's my wish list for this year...
A. We beat the @$*&^$ Spurs EVERY SINGLE GAME! (including playoffs) :mad1:
B. Shaq squashes Duncan EVERY SINGLE GAME :mad1:
C. The Mailman gives us 20 ppg :shaq:
D. GP leads the league in assists
E. We win the Pacific and secure Home Court faster than any team in league history
F. Our bench is a "help" and not a "hinderance"
G. WIN THE WHOLE FREAKING THING AND BRING BACK THE BLING BLING! :jam2:
